I have been using Scott’s Turf Builder Weed & Feed for many years I have, by far, the best looking yard in the neighborhood every year. People driving by have stopped many times to ask me how I get my yard so green and without weeds and tell them all about Scott’s because I can’t personally take the credit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product hoping it would kill the ground ivy in the grass - it did not. was it greener - yes - healthier - perhaps - this ivy I'm trying to kill - actually kills the grass and spreads like wild fire. It's more expensive than the store brand - did it do a better job - I'd have to say not.

Some of the fertilizer came out of the bag in large chunks. I took a large flat-head screw driver and hammer and broke it into smaller pieces and then used my hands to break it up. What should have been a 20 minute job turned into hours. The cotter pins immediately broke on my pull behind spreader because there were still chunks big enough to apparently break steel. Stuff was like sand. Scooped it out of the spreader to try to break up the chunks further. Burned my lawn. The directions were useless - had to keep increasing the spreader number way over the recommendation to get the stuff to fall out and spread. Have purchased this stuff before in the past and didn't have these type of problems. Scott's quality control has apparently gone downhill.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this weed and feed in our side yard because we just cannot kill the weeds there. We used it the morning after it rained and we used our spreader to make it easier to apply. It worked very well on the dandelions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started seeing dandelions starting to grow in my yard. Within days I started seeing the dandelions die back and never bloom to my delight! Additionally the whole lawn greened up in days! Overall, I love the performance of this product.

Three days ago I had a beautiful green and lush lawn that I work on very hard to keep looking that way. On Wednesday, I put Scotts Turf Builder weed and feed. I followed the directions perfectly. I actually read them twice to be sure I was following directions. Today, Friday April 19, 2019, I have a lawn that is turning brown and dying. I am beyond upset and frustrated!!! Never again will I use Scotts products. Can someone please give advice to rectify the situation?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed every year on my lawn. Some recommend multiple applications, but I find that one works extremely well. It saves me a lot of effort to combine fertilizing with weed control in one application. The grass is noticably greener, and most of the weeds are effectively killed after application. Recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product for 20 years and using a drop spreader behind my lawn tractor, year end and year out I allways have a lush green yard and with no weeds and no yellow flowers! My fathers yard has a lot more clay content with quite a few poor grass areas that seemed were allways bare. He tried many liquid grass/soil treatments but these all falied. I brought up my spreader and a few large bags of Scotts' Turf Builder with "halts" and a few weeks later his lawn was healthy and lush and it was never that dark green and his lawn became the envy of that neighborhood just the same as mine every year!

I've used this product for several years and I highly recommend it. Its easy to use and effective on weeds. I have done battle with Hawkweed in my very sandy soiled lawn. Scotts has made that battle much easier and has remained effective. It isn't 100% against the Hawkweed, but that is due to the aggressive weed itself. You can dose that with Roundup and it will still come back. So, after effectively beating it down with Roundup, the Scotts and a good mowing regime keep my lawn looking as happy as it can, given my soil situation. Where I once has a poor looking lawn, I now have a lush soft lawn that I can walk barefoot in. I will continue using Scotts products and highly recommend to anyone that asks what I do to my lawn.

This is my 3rd season of using all 4 of the 4-Step products from Scott's. Results have been gradual, but at this point my lawn looks awesome. Much thicker, greener and many fewer weeds and clover. Have some patience and stick with the plan...IT WORKS!
