[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts Turf Builder does exactly what it promises. I’ve used this many times over the years to keep my yard hopefully weed free. Ensure you read and understand the directions. It states it will kill 57 different weeds. The area to be covered MUST be wet before any application. I had to use the garden hose to wet the required area. I used the Elite spreader which is set at 4.5 setting. Walk in a steady speed during the process. As usual, I had no issues to worry about. Great Product if used CORRECTLY.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used several bargain brands in the past but their effectiveness is alway marginal. It usually take several applications that one application of Scotts achieves. Just make sure the grass/weeds are damp during application so that the product sticks to the weeds. I only wish Scotts would replace 2,4D with a less toxic chemical. Wear gloves when applying and don't wear the same shoes into the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice Product. I like the uniform small size and how it distrubutes so well. I also appreciate that it finally seems like the included settings for the scotts elite spreader. My only comment or complaint is how you need to apply the product when the grass is damp. I applied in the am with the grass damp from dew. I dislike how much seems to stick to the wheels and spreader base that is in contact with the grass. Ultimately it dries and can be brushed or rinsed off. I do feel the quality is high. I would benefit from 5k vs the smaller 4k bag size. Not sure why, but be aware if you dont look close but rather at large vs small bag. Just applied so waiting for green up to occur. I don't have lots of weeds so hopefully this knocks the tiny ones out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an issue with broad leaf weeds and clover. Turf Builder Weed & Feed took about two days before I started to see the weeds dying. Fast forward a week and all the weeds are dead. I'm happy with the product and will continue to use it.

I read through a lot of the negative reviews and people who have had negative results probably didn't follow instructions. The lawn needs to be wet, like a dewy morning and I found to have the best results. Also, I would not recommend mowing for 2 or 3 days after the application. I usually put 2 applications of weed and feed on during the year once in mid spring and mid summer. I put a preventer on early spring for crab grass, fall fertilizer in late September, and a winterizer in November. I have always used Scott's with great results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product. I used it as directed. A couple of days after application, the broadleaf weeds started to wither and turn yellow. The grass is growing faster also. I will use it again in the future!

Being able to nourish my lawn and eliminate a broad variety of weeds in one easy application fits very nicely into my busy schedule. The effects of the application are readily evident after a few short days with a noticeable reduction in weeds and the overall increase in the health and appearance of the lawn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The weeds start disappearing in about a week leaving a deep green beautiful lawn. Very easy to apply with the Scotts easy green spreader. Perfect fertilizer all the way till fall. Will use the summer fertilizer if we don’t dry up too much.

I've historically spot treated my lawn for weeds, and just used Turf Builder or Green Max for feeding. This year, we seem to have an outbreak of clover and rather than treating it with Weed-B-Gone's product for killing clover (can't recall its name right now), I used this product because of the claim that it "Clears Out" clover and feeds the lawn at the same time. Not only did it not "clear out" the clover, but the feeding effectiveness is lacking - the lawn looks like it went unfed while the clover patches are flourishing.
