I purchased this Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed 3 for my lawn and for my mothers lawn which is in a nearby town (same soil and climate conditions). On both lawns, I applied the product EXACTLY as instructed and I even went out and got a Scott's spreader which I calibrated per instructions to insure the precise application amount. My yard is about 23,000 sq.ft. and my mom's about 18,000. It has now been 2 weeks, and I swear BOTH LAWNS have MORE DANDELIONS and CLOVER than they did to start. The violets or whatever the small purple flowered weed also seems to be proliferating. I think the weeds are asking for more, it was delicious! My lawn actually has more weeds than either neighbor on either side, neither of whom treated their lawns in any way. Since I can not reapply (instructions say only 2 times per year Spring and Fall) this is a COLOSSAL waist of pretty big money.

I bought 2 bags of this stuff and I seriously feel like I wasted my money! I followed the package directions exactly! It’s been two weeks, weeds are still growing and very much alive. A few of them shriveled up but remained green in the center and continued to grow.

I bought and applied the Scotts Weed and Feed (15000 sq ft) about a month back . I applied it based on the instructions listed on the package. I have been very disappointed with the results. I have weeds all over my lawn. How can I remove and recover from the weeds without killing the grass ? I am attaching 4 pictures and can provide more. Thanks

Living in TN, my soil is very poor. This year I've got a lot of white clover so I figured I'd give the Scotts Weed & Feed a try. I applied it just after noon time and we got rain the evening. I didn't have enough to cover my entire lawn, but the next day around noon, the clover in the areas I used the Weed & Feed lost it's bright white color and was turning gray. The following day, the flowers were brown, and on the third day, there was NO visible clover flowers! This stuff is fantastic! Bob

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The weeds start disappearing in about a week leaving a deep green beautiful lawn. Very easy to apply with the Scotts easy green spreader. Perfect fertilizer all the way till fall. Will use the summer fertilizer if we don’t dry up too much.

I have used this product before and it has worked very well for me. The bag I opened today had wet, clumpy fertilizer inside. There's no way it will spread with my Scott's rotary spreader. Going to leave it sit in the hopper for a few days and see if it dries out.

This Scott weed & feed is the best way to recover your lawn and get it looking green and weed free again without having to dig them out or spot spray them all day. At our last house and neighborhood, my neighbors on both sides of me and I used the Scott's 4-step program and we had lawns that looked great and you couldn't tell where one lawn started and ended. That's why I'll always be a Scott's user.

Applied exactly as instructions specified, even used a scotts spreader. Its 7 days later and my wife just chuckles because the lawn looks exactly as it did before we applied. I actually think we may have even more weeds than we did before. I really wanted it to work as its easy to apply but not happy about performance.

(One to two days) The weeds were already willted and yellow. After one week my grass looks much thicker and greener. I will absolutely use this product again.
