[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Turf Builder is consistantly the highest quality lawn product. At times I have bought cheaper products, but always come back to Scotts. They know their products. Other brands may cost less, but they contain cheap filler, and when you see poor results and have to redo your lawn application again, no money has been saved!

Very pleased with the results as expected. Applied the product Memorial Day with excellent results. Now that Labor Day is approaching I'm ready to put it to work once again. I'm confident that by next Spring/Summer I'm expecting a 98% weed free lawn. Very happy with the product. Follow the directions and you will see positive results. I'm mowing grass now as opposed to mowing weeds. Hey, maybe next year I'll be the lawn of the month which our town gives out to homeowners.

I use Scotts on occasion, only because it is widely available. However, I'm not really impressed with most of their products. I put the Turf Builder down this spring because their crabgrass preventer has never worked for me. The weed and feed has done a better job, especially with the feed. The weed part is somewhat lacking, and I don't have a lot of weeds in my yard. For the price, this product should work better than it does. In the 90's, I used to put Miracle Grow weed and feed granules on my lawn and it never looked better. I had complete strangers stopping by wanting to know what I was using on my lawn. Unfortunately, they discontinued the granules and went to liquid only, which IMO doesn't work, so I'm always looking for other brands to improve my lawn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used Scott's products since we bought our first home in 1984, we have a lush, green and so thick lawn, completely weed free, friends and family who come to visit and walk in the yard can't believe how thick and gorgeous it is, we don't water as much as others with thinner lawns, we have even had people drive by and see us outside who will stop and ask how in the world do you get your lawn looking so nice....we always smile and have one word to say "Scott's" we have been loyal to Scott's for 32 years and will be for the remainder of our home owning years.

I live in NW South Carolina - Scott's products work! I highly endorse this product. I attempt to fertilize my lawn at least twice a year using Scott's products-Scott's Weed and Feed is an absolute must! Other brands might work as well, but Scott's products produce over the top lawn national company-I have tried them-use Scott's. ...use your savings for these two major tips; plant winter rye and cut your grass high! Consistancy is working lawn is getting fuller no sight of weeds. The first year was the hardest did not see instant results, sounds like what some are looking for. The product needs time to work and you need to follow the directions. . Now I use it for maintenance using all of the scotts products for every season.

I have used Scotts products for a number of years, and was a huge fan. However, the last year has now left me looking for other options. Last Fall, I used the Scotts Halts Crabgrass Preventer, Fall Weed and Feed, and have come back early this Spring and used Scotts 2x Weed & Feed. My yard has more weeds, dandelions, and poa annua than ever before and yes, I know how to follow directions and use the product correctly. Scotts is traditionally more expensive than other brands, but I expect better quality and performance for that premium. I'm very disappointed and want my money back!

My first home. My first time having a lawn with a clean slate. The lawn was put in around winter/spring, so there was at least 6 months until I fertilized it. Used this fertilizer one time on my Common Bermuda. The lawn is burned and I mean burned. Followed directions to the hilt. Waited until less than 90 degrees outside and no water for 24 hours after application. Too bad I didn't consult the Extension Service which says "Ammonium sulfate, urea, and other water-soluble nitrogen fertilizers are often used on bermudagrass lawns; however, these “fast-release” nitrogen fertilizers will burn turfgrasses if they are applied." Looked on the bag, and guess what - the Scotts is Ammonium Sulfate, urea, and other-water soluble fertilizers, yet it's supposed to be ok for Bermuda. What a disappointment. I've heard others say that they had a "Scotts Lawn." Gee. I wish I could have had one, as hard as I've worked on it. Now I'm going to have to find another company's care program to apply to my lawn.
