He hired a contractor to plow the entire front lawn, seeded it and used starter fertilizer. when new lawn came in, the disturbed soil brought up a lot of flower seed as well as weed seed. I used the product a week ago yesterday, either it’s way too early to tell if it has worked or it just has not worked, weeds are still prevalent and the grass has not gotten fuller. The first application of the year was amazing and it did an awesome job, the jury is still out on this type.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put down the fertilizer the day it was delivered. Some well timed rain came and worked the fertilizer into the ground. We waited a short time and began to see the changes. The grass turned a deep green and became thick - and we also have no dandelions or other weeds in our lawn. We have to cut a little more often but it is well worth the looks of our lawn. We have had numerous comments on how nice our lawn looks and we always tell them about Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed.

I followed the instructions carefully but ended up with a discolored lawn. No weeds, but... the label said temporary discoloration. However, this was not temporary. I will not use this product again. Now working to find a product to restore a solid green color back to my lawn.

Although temperatures and rain quantity haven't been ideal the weeds, especially the the pesky yellow flowers are starting to show some withering.. Expect it to take another week to see complete success.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My side yard has mostly mystery grass. Thus, I decided to apply to one area near the middle. I spread with a broadcast spreader trying to stay in middle area. Some of the green died out, but the remainder turned dark green. I like the product.
