[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in Southern California during a drought makes it even more of a challenge to grow beautiful turf while not using as much water. Yet no matter how dry it gets, weeds manage to spring up regardless. So I tried Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed, which managed to kill those nasty weeds without killing what's left of my grass. It's a little more expensive than generic brands but it delivers the results you want so it's worth the extra coin.

This product is great!!! I cannot believe the negative reviews. It works excellently well for me!!!! I apply in warm weather to wet grass / wet weeds whether it had just rained or I had just walked around my lawn and sprayed my lawn with a garden hose before applying Scotts Weed & Feed - yes, sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do if you want t weed-free lawn - anyway, it worked very well. After a week or two, all traces of any weeds are gone. Product would last approx. 6 weeks but I found that I would re-apply after 5 weeks in order to stay on top of the new weeds that emerge. I tend not to water in, and that works well for me. However, Scotts says to water in after at least 24 hours.

The only thing holding it back from an excellent overall rating was the recurrence of some clover. That could have been my fault. Aslo, my value rating was average because the coverage area didn't quite match that bag's rating. NO, it wasn't the spreader (Scotts) or setting. A 15K bag always covers my yard, this time it didn't come close.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use Scott's 4 step program now so i do not normally now need to use the weed and feed however in the past and in particularly bad weed years i use it.I never,never have dandelions and rarely have crabgrass.When i do get some i use this product to clean it up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product does kill a number of weeds, but it will also kill the grass you want to keep. I had used it for years with good results, but I had a fairly newly seeded lawn the last time I used it. Now I have to start over because it killed the entire lawn where I reseeded. Lesson learned. Wait till your lawn is more established.

Bought two bags, followed instructions on the back to a tee and within 72 hours, my lawn looked as if I zebra striped it on purpose. Yellow and green lines in the exact pattern that I walked with my spreader. In addition to the yellow stripes, it did absolutely nothing to any of the weeds that it was spread on.
