I've got 2 acres of lawn that was cow pasture 10 years ago when I bought the house 3 years ago... loaded with weeds, hay, dandelions …you name it.... I loaded the app and entered all the info of what I had and took all the recommendations and did it. Now with as bad as it was, and the size lawn I have... it was not cheap to do all the applications... but now I get continued compliments on how much the lawn has improved after 1.5 years of sticking to it. I will continue. you get what you pay for... if you follow the directions.

Great product if you read and follow the directions on when to apply, how to apply (settings) and weather conditions. This is one of the Scott's products that you need to monitor the weather forecast and apply when the lawn is wet. When used as directed you will get amazing results.

Bought this for the first. Extremely disappointed as I thought Scott’s products were a high quality product. I used a Scott Basic spreader, at recommended settings. The product has extremely fine texture which did not result in product being distributed much beyond the spreader itself. With poor distribution the lawn has streaks of overly fertilized with alternations of poorly fertilized grass. The Zebra Effect.

The product had several unbreakable lumps of the product also, There were small eggshell pieces reminiscent of plaster. Using a handheld spreader which kept jamming due to these small pieces. I noticed the granules when spraying included a lot of dust. I used the product several days ago the clover is not dying and is growing as a well-fertilized plant should grow. Not happy with the product and will switch brands in the future.

I used Scott’s weed and feed on my lawn as directed. Applied the next morning after a heavy rain storm, using my Scott’s spreader. OMG, this stuff not only burned the weeds but also burned my grass. See the photo, it left patches of brown spots where grass used to grow. I am not happy at all that it took out my grass!

I have used Scotts products for many years and have been very happy. This year I used the Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed as I always have. After three weeks, the weeds are not any different at best. Normally, my yard is one of the better ones in the neighborhood. People will ask what I do to get and keep it in such good shape. I explain I just put together a Scotts annual program.
