Decent, but could be better.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decent first application. A bit unreliable as you have to be certain the lawn is wet and the application sticks to the weeds otherwise the weeds will laugh at this weed killer. Typical Scotts fertilizer, works decent, but I feel like it doesn't do as well as building the roots like it has used to.

Unsure about this product
I used the product a week ago yesterday, either it’s way too early to tell if it has worked or it just has not worked, weeds are still prevalent and the grass has not gotten fuller. The first application of the year was amazing and it did an awesome job, the jury is still out on this type.
Great Product for Clearing out the Weeds
I used this product first in late March. Because my yard was riddled with weeds, I used it again in late April. Fantastic results! I look forward to continuing the program into June, July and August with the Summerguard. I can't wait to see the results!!!

I purchased (3) 15000 sq/ft bags on 9/2/15 I applied the following morning in a heavy dew. We did receive .25" of rain 36 hours after application. My problem is I seen no noticeable wilting of the broadleaf dandelion, plantain, creeping Charlie etc. My yard is 46000 sq/ft I applied using a rotary broadcast spreader. The yard is green! This was an investment of $159.93 I also own a 25 gallon liquid lawn sprayer, I would like to know what product I should use to make my yard a lawn. I mow at 4" and take pride in gardening? Help

Occasionally, even when products are used correctly, weeds fail to die and we simply can't identify why. We do hope you'll try using one of our weed controls again. For control of both broadleaf weeds and select grassy weeds growing in your lawn, I recommend that you use Ortho Weed B Gon Max Plus Crabgrass Control Concentrate. If you consider trying my suggestion, wait at least 3 weeks after your original application of the Scotts Weed and Feed.product.. Ortho Weed B Gon Max Plus Crabgrass Control Concentrate is a selective weed control that kills most broadleaf weeds and common grassy weeds. For control to be effective the weeds must be actively growing at the time of application. Also, for best results, apply this product to a dry lawn when the temperatures are consistently above 65 degrees but below 90 degrees. Apply it when rain is not expected for at least 1 hour. Do not enter the area until the product has dried. Hard to kill weeds may require a follow-up application in 2 to 3 weeks. If an insecticide or fungicide has been applied wait one week before using Weed B Gon MAX Plus Crabgrass Control Ready-to-Use. We want you to be confident in our products. Clover spread after applying
I followed the directions by having the lawn damp when I applied (6 bags...I have a large lawn) to my surprise and disappointment the clover was NOT gone or even slightly killed, it GREW! It is VERY disappointing to spend hundreds of dollars on this product and not have it work!

I’ve never write Walmart reviews but This stuff worked perfectly for my yard and saved me from redoing the entire thing. I could not be happier. I had to remove a few by hand with a weed puller but most of them dissolved into nothing. I used a hand crank feeder (not Scott’s brand just a random one) to apply to the hard. I followed directions to the letter and again it worked so well.
Fertilized 2 weeks ago, weeds are worse than ever
I purchased Turf Builder Weed and Feed for the first time. I had previously used another fertilizer for years and spot treated for weeds. This product never 'greened up' the lawn and the weeds are worse than ever. Very disappointed considering the cost and the weed control claim. I followed instructions exactly as directed. Will take advantage of the guarantee.

Don’t do it!
After following directions my yard became a buffet for dollar weeds! They are having a good time feasting on the feed part of weed n feed! A 4000 sq ft bag at the price of last years 5000 sq ft bag. Need not respond with the automated reply to a negative review! Only automation I need is automatic refund!

Scott’s Weed and Feed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product work great for feeding the lawn and controlling weeds. Easy to apply and then watch the weeds go away and the grass grow green an lush. I always much for the first 4 to 5 mowings after application.
Weed and Feed is more like Feed FOR Weeds
Applied it late March just as weeds were starting to come up. Did nothing. In fact had more dandelions in my lawn than ever before. Thought maybe I had applied it too soon so bought another bag and applied it again late April... Still no affect. finally just had to go buy some dandelion spray. Weird thing is last year I applied it once and it seemed to work. This year it didn't work at all. Almost like they had changed the formula or have a ton that they forgot to put the weed killer in the mix... Something. Totally wasted my money... Twice!
