We're sorry to read about your disappointment with Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed 3 and appreciate your feedback. Any moisture that gets in the product will make the granules lump together. When it dries out, it forms hard clumps. If the product is stored in high heat or humidity or gets rained on, this can happen. Another possible cause is the product being stored on a concrete or cement floor or leaning against a wall made of either material. Concrete/cement draws moisture and can increase the chance of moisture getting in the bag. When purchasing the product in person, be sure to inspect the bags for signs of rips or other damage. We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee to our consumers. At your earliest convenience, please reach out to us at 888-270-3714 if we can further assist.

We're sorry to read about your disappointment with Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed5 and appreciate your feedback. The active ingredients trigger uncontrolled plant growth that causes the weeds listed on the label to die. You should notice the weeds begin to curl and yellow a few days after application due to this excessive growth. The weeds will die within a 2-to-4 week period, depending on temperature conditions. When applying, the lawn must be wet for the product to stick to the broadleaf weed leaves. The product must remain on the weed leaves for 24 hours. Temperatures must be consistently (several days in a row) between 60 and 90°F. For listed grassy weeds to be prevented, this has to be applied before the target grassy weeds germinate. We want you to be confident in our products.
