I bought a house that had everything I wanted except central air which will have to wait. This unit is keeping a large part of family room and dining room a nice cool temperature. My only thought for improvement would be to work on the window insert part - it could be upgraded without much effort.

This portable air conditioner has worked great. It is loud so if you're a light sleeper you might not want it running while sleeping but if you aren't a light sleeper you shouldn't have any trouble. The setup for the unit was quite simple. The unit includes both detailed and not-so-detailed instructions for setup and use. In terms of cooling ability, this device works really well. It only has one tube on the back (which in my research indicates less efficiency) but it was capable of cooling the room the unit is in. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Cools better than any other portable air conditioner I've ever tried and love the quiet setting. We loved it so much we bought two. The only thing we noticed is that it often flashes Lt meaning it is freezing up but it has a quick auto defrost mode. Also like that it dehumidifies as well as cools so we do not have to set the temp as low as we did with the traditional window air conditioning units.

I like this air conditioner more than I thought I would. I use it in the bedroom. You vent it through a window. Installation is simple, and the air it puts out is very cold. I love that there's no bulky unit to be mounted in a window. I have central air, but I shut it off at night. I like a cold bedroom, and this assures one year round. I would recommend it with enthusiasm.

I am very satisfied with this unit. I use it in my bedroom to supplement central air conditioning. I live in a condo and window units are not allowed. Bedroom never cooled well because it is on the 2nd floor and gets afternoon sun. This unit works great. Arrived with no damage. It is NOT as loud as other reviews indicate. I have not had to drain the unit to keep it running. I had a unit (not DeLonghi) several years ago that would shut off constantly and need to be drained. Not experiencing that with this unit.

I bought this for our 400+ square foot master bedroom. The hose that goes out the window is not so pretty, but man does this portable air conditioner work great! With the weather at a constant 100 degrees everyday, I actually wake up freezing with the comforter pulled over my head!

Kept me cool through the July heat waves when my CAC went up and took three weeks to replace.

Love the unit. Totally cools our 675 sq ft apartment.

I've had a problem trying to keep one of my rooms cool in the house. This Has done a great job
