A nice addition to my home office.

I recently had a need to scan hundreds of old photos from my parents photo albums for preservation digitally. This scanner was a time safer to say the least. It was fast with ability to stack similar sized photos and accurate with high resolution. It also was able to simultaneously scan the backs to pick up all of those notes my mom had added. Love it and worth every dollar.

Fast and high quality scans

I bought this to scanner to preserve some antique photos - the scanner was extremely fast (even saving at 600 dpi), the quality of the scans was fantastic, and the machine treated these photos gently enough that it did not damage them in the least. The option to save an enhanced version of the photo without manually tweaking it in photo editing software, as well, is a bonus. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and recommend it for anyone looking to archive photos.

Very efficient and fast on scanning my photos and receipts

The Epson FastFoto FF-680W Wireless High-speed Photo and Document Scanner is an very nice scanner! I really like the fast scanning abilities, the quality of scans, and very easy setup of the scanner. I was really impressed with the extremely easy setup and setup of the scanner. The provided instructions are very easy to follow and very intuitive. Instructions also provide driver links to Epsom’s website. I always configure computer hardware with the latest drivers from manufacturers websites for less problems and best performance and compatibility. The scanner is easy to operate. You can load multiple documents or photos and press the scan button to do the whole job. It scans very fast. Very nice when you have lots of documents or photos to scan. It saves a lot of time. It comes with some nice editing and correction software to fix the scratches or red eye in photos. Also if you need to rotate some images to the proper orientation or to crop them. The only issue I ran into was some very old photos I had were curved a little and jammed in scanner during scan. I had no problem straightening them out a little and re running the scan. I seen on other reviews that some people had scanner path marks added to their photos. I did not experience this issue with my photos. They came back out with no added marks. I really enjoy using this scanner. It will get me off my seat and finally get all my photos digitized and also scan all my receipts so they will be preserved if ever needed for warranty repairs or returns. This is a review for the Epson FastFoto FF-680W Wireless High-speed Photo and Document Scanner System that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Fast and Easy

I've been slowly converting old printed photos to digital copies using flatbed scanners on multifunction printers and even though this works just fine, it is very time consuming. When I heard a radio ad for the FastFoto FF-680W, I thought it might be worth a look to speed up the process. It was everything they said it was, fast, easy to use and I was able to scan 20 years of photos in about 8 hours. If you are looking for a fast-easy way to convert your print photos to digital copies, I would highly recommend this product!

Fast! Fast! Fast! - I’ve never seen anything as amazing!

I bought this for myself for Christmas, hoping to scan all the family photos. Because there is no scan driver for an iPad at this time, I was unable to use the scanner. I borrowed a laptop from a friend and was able to scan just fine. The photos scan very fast, does batch scanning, even clears up imperfections and red-eyes. I absolutely love it! The only thing they could do better is to have a downloadable app/driver for mobile devices so I don’t have to borrow my friends laptop to use it. I can run my TV as a remote with my phone and tablet, I should be able to work computer equipment as well.

Great & Simple Photos and Documents Scanner

I am impressed with the performance of the Epson FastFoto FF-680W Wireless scanner. It is quite fast, robust, easy to use. It is a true value for money. I was able to convert my 30 years old dimmed and faded photos to bright ones which refreshed my memories and made my family excited about our old traveling and trips.

Awesone Photo Scanner

Bought this along with an ES-60W scanner to arvhive boxes of old photos and I'm so glad I did. This machine is absolutrly amazing and fast. It scans both sides of the photo if it detects information, otherwise it skips the backside. It came with a carrier sheet to use with frayed, odd sized, turn clippings and etc.. I highly recommend this scanner to anyone wishing to scan lots of photos. It has saved me many, many days of work due the speed and capability. The only complaint, is that I wish you could change the file path and name descrioption from the scan button screen, rather than selecting Done andventering the settings option. I would also, suggest getting the ES-60W scanner for scanning photos to thick (Poloroid) or too small to feed through the FastFoto scanner. You'll thank me for it. I have over 6000 photos to archive.

Wonderful Product

The Epson F2F 680 product that I received is new in the box perfect condition with everything in the box, it included the manual instruction and every component needed to function. As I connected from my laptop to the printer and follow the step by step instructions, very easy and explainable I had no complications and no problem getting it to function. Epson scanner guide me visually how to open files to include my documents and my pictures easy unexplainable I found it to be a wonderful tool in a work office, in a house or just for fun. Uploading your pictures so that they won't get ruined and keep them in good self place anytime you want to download or blow up a picture for your home for a friend or just to send to a family member. I found it to be a very convenient product very useful now I don't have to keep bags of receipts, folders of documents. Now I could upload it to a file on my home PC or my laptop and take it with me everywhere I go I can open any documents at any given moment without running around. I have it right at the palm of my hand. Personally I would recommend this product to anyone. Excellent purchase

I purchased this several months ago and it has been superb for use with paper documents. It does not handle photos well if they have any kind of additional sticker attached to the back which thicken them, otherwise it has worked seamlessly. Super-fast and reliable!

Does a nice job of scanning and enhancing the pictures

This has made short work of scanning the hundreds of photos. I do think that the photo naming cold by improved. The page that is used for naming the photos could be improved to provide for a different name for the subfolder instead of using elements of the file name. For instance, if I am scanning pictures of a trip, I would like the subfolder to have the year and the month or season. I don't want the picture names to have that information since it would be redundant.
