I purchased this fan with some concerns and thinking it was a risk based on some comments I read. After having it for two days I am pleased to say my current opinion is that its not too loud, blows sufficient air to be felt in my living room and its actually a big open space, and I like the ion option. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend you give it a try yourself even with some comments you can always return if it does not meet your expectation.

I bought this fan about two weeks ago. The osculating feature, once turned on, would not stop once turned off. Turned fan completely off and the fan continued osculating. Needed to be unplugged in order for it to stop osculating. Once plugged up again, it automatically begins osculating without pushing the button on the fan and/or on the remote.

I've had four of the other Lasko fans for years, one I bought last year, but this one is not worth the money. It's quieter because it barely puts out any air. The"widespread" oscillation is about a 30-degree scope. I bought two tonight. One did not have the remote or the screws to attach the bottom. I'm taking both back tomorrow and buying the short, squat fan which costs $10 more and works so much better.

I have owned lasko fans for many years..but this is one is by far the best..I had purchased an expensive fan with expectations of a lot of air ..but ended up returning it..I purchased this one on Memorial Day wkend and couldn’t be happier..we live down here in south tip of Texas where temps w/be reaching 100’s first week of June..Definitely buying another one for our Hot Hot Summer months..you won’t regret buying this fan for a lot of blown air and as quiet as a motored fan can be...

I’m now taking the second one I’ve tried back due to issues. The first would randomly power off and then back on again. 0 support from manufacturer. The second one now rattles and acts as if the blades are pretty out of balance. Price drop might be the only reason I try a third unit...but it’s 2020, and luck is working against us.

Four fan speed settings, and none of them move anywhere close to the amount of air that a box fan from the same manufacturer moves. And it died after LESS THAN two years. Meanwhile, the previously mentioned box fan is still going after a decade. I spent $20 on the box fan that still works after ten years, and $60 on this worthless tower fan that died after less than two years.

This fan is quiet, but doesn't move as much air as other fans. Seems when it comes to fans you have to pick one over the other - moving air vs. noise level. I use this fan in a bedroom for someone who needs to run a fan at night while they sleep - their priority was quiet so this fan works well for them. Had it for year so far and so far so good. It comes with a remote control but you have to be directly in front of the front panel of the fan for the remote to work.

When the fan is facing you from the front where the Lasko name and control panel is, the fan has to be off to the side half way for you to get air on you, I just replaced my old one and when it faced me the air was coming strait at me so this is aligned wrong and that’s a shame but it’s just awkward, they must have made them all like this and then realized they made them wrong so Sam’s Club probably got a huge discount on them.

This is a very quiet fan that has a remote that we love. Our remote will work from 12' away, but it must be pointed directly at the FRONT of the fan which doesn't present a problem for us. It circulates as much or as little air as we chose. We run ours every day and are in the process of purchasing a second one. Awesome purchase for us.

I wanted something smaller but I saw this with a lower price so I impulse bought. It is a tall tower. I am headed out to go get another one. It is amazing. In 20 mins my kitchen feels sooo good. It has been so hot and uncomfortable. We love it. Recommend full.
