Malfunctions after a month

It turns on and off randomly throughout the day. Now it changes speed at random times. I guess it works for about a month and a half before acting up.

Not as advertised

This is a terrible model and not what I ordered. No air ionizer as described when purchased. This model is extremely loud and little air flow as well. Will be returning.

Fan has a humming noise; narrow oscillation;bright

The fan moves air fairly well. The oscillation is not very wide. The LED display is very bright, enough to disturb one in a dark room. It also suffers from a noisy hum that annoys me at least.

We have other 4 tower A/C fans from same company, since years. Also we got tower heater from same company. ALL ARE EXCELLENT! Worth the money.. actually, a lot WORTH its price!

Not as advertised

No fresh air ionizer, which was one of the reasons I bought this fan. Does have four speed settings which is a plus. Air flow isn't great but will do for now. Made cheaper than previous models I have purchased.

Not as good as other Lasko fans

I've had four of the other Lasko fans for years, one I bought last year, but this one is not worth the money. It's quieter because it barely puts out any air. The"widespread" oscillation is about a 30-degree scope. I bought two tonight. One did not have the remote or the screws to attach the bottom. I'm taking both back tomorrow and buying the short, squat fan which costs $10 more and works so much better.

Defective Osculating Feature

I bought this fan about two weeks ago. The osculating feature, once turned on, would not stop once turned off. Turned fan completely off and the fan continued osculating. Needed to be unplugged in order for it to stop osculating. Once plugged up again, it automatically begins osculating without pushing the button on the fan and/or on the remote.

Questionable Featrures

See that tiny base on the fan. That is a problem. It is too small and is dangerous if sitting on carpet. I put it on a wood floor for safety but I think one of my cats could easily knock it over. The fan oscillates but not far enough. We run it on high and it certainly will not keep everyone cool unless we constantly circle the fan ourselves. It is very quiet, so 5 stars for that. Great if you have a tiny room and are cooling only one person.

Bigger than expected

I wanted something smaller but I saw this with a lower price so I impulse bought. It is a tall tower. I am headed out to go get another one. It is amazing. In 20 mins my kitchen feels sooo good. It has been so hot and uncomfortable. We love it. Recommend full.

Good Fan for the Price

I've purchased a few Lasko tower fans over the years for several rooms in my home. This model is my third and possibly least favorite BUT it is still a pretty good fan for $50 and I would recommend it to others. It's my least favorite because the oscillation range is more narrow and it's slightly louder than previous models offered over the years at Sam's. One of the features I was curious about was the Nighttime Feature. I was hoping it would be similar to the Breeze Feature on a competitors model which simulated a light breeze and was pleasant for sleeping. However the Lasko Nightime Feature is different but has two functions. One dims the lights 50%, which is helpful especially given the 1+ inch numeric display. Previous Lasko fans have had indicator lights that are pretty bright and distracting in the middle of the night. The second function runs the fan on high for one hour, then medium for an hour and then low for the remaining time until adjusted by the user. This is also helpful, just not what I was hoping for. Also, an hour on high seems to be a bit much.
