I bought this for Memorial Day weekend and the thumb screws are missing to attach the base to the fan. Now I can't use it for this hot holiday weekend because their hours are M - F 8 - 5. Very disappointed! I rated it a 1 because I am unable to use it until I get the screws. The owners instructions say not to return to the store - Sam's club.

I own a similar tower Lasko fan that I bought 3 years ago. Still running and still happy with it. When I saw this fan, I figured it would not hurt to have another one. This one is loud and most importantly it's angle of oscillation is very small (maybe 30 degrees or less),

My husband and I are very happy with this fan. We've had it for a few months now and it has been a work horse. We use it in our bedroom while we sleep every night. It's quiet and cools us down nicely. The remote has come in handy when we forget to turn it on and it gets warm in the room. We don't have to leave the bed to get it going. Very satisfied.

I seldom write reviews but since I'm depending on reviews more before I purchase a product I knew I had to write a review on this fan because I really think this is a very nice fan for the price. I just bought it yesterday and am VERY pleased with it already!! Airflow is nice and strong on even the lowest setting. The slim design is nice instead of the stand up fans with blades that can stick out in any size room. This is the best stand up fan I have purchase!! Highly recommend it!!

Bought this fan for our RV because We have limited space and wanted to move a lot of air. The oscillating feature works great and even on low speed it moves a lot of air. The remote control is a nice feature also. It did such a great job I bought a second one for our 42' RV and another one for our son's RV. Very happy with this purchase

I love many features of this fan. Slim design, price, ionizer and oscillating feature. However! It randomly stops working for 2-3 seconds and starts back up again. In an 8 hour period does this 3-4 times. Will be taking back after only using it a few months. Also, is not as powerful as my old, "original brand" tower fan.

I was excited to score this fan at a decent price. However, I have to get rid of it. The noise it creates at level 3-4 is annoying. It sounds like a soft jet engine at that speed. If the noise doesn’t bother you it’s a 5 star. However, if your sensitive to noise buy something else.

I got one of these fans for my son and I liked it so much that I got one for myself when mine quit working. It's very tall, which is nice. Then my other son's fan broke and, again, I bought the same fan. So we have 3 of the same. Some people mention the smell, but that was only temporary. We have no issues with smell. My only criticism is the blue light. When you turn on the ionizer, it has a blue indicator light which is extremely bright. No worries. I just cut out a small piece of paper and put tape over it to cover up the intensity of the light. I can still see the blue light indicator, but it doesn't keep me awake anymore.

We initially went to SAMs to buy the Lasko High Velocity fan but they were out of stock, so we bought this one instead. Even on high the fan is very quiet and moves air quite well. It keeps the entire living room nice and cool. The fan is inexpensive and the ionizing option is a nice feature. Just a heads up, the remote does not come with batteries though. It takes 2 double A. All in all a great buy, we'll probably purchase a second one.

I bought 2 of the fans because they work so well. The noise is very low, purring like a cat. The air that comes out can be compared to an air conditioner somewhat. It keeps my ac bill down a lot. I have hot flashes and night sweats and this fan definitely helps out considerably with those issues. The shipping was very fast. Some assembly is needed, but even a beginner such as myself, I am able to put together well. These fans are the best I have ever had, and the price can not be beat.
