Absolutely love this shark. I love that it has a hardwood floor setting, it runs smoothly, and the suction power is very strong. The attachments also work very well. I tried a Bissell pet vacuum before this one and they don't even compare. This shark is amazing and performs very well! I even enjoy the little light it has and how easy the chamber emptied.

The description on the zu785 say the hand nozzle as well as the floor nozzles have led lights , not true . In fact only the floor sweep area has the led light . The hand nozzle / wand DOES NOT HAVE LED LIGHTS . Also my wife says the vacuum is much heaviest and more bulky than the Dyson she currently uses , not sure if we are keeping this one ....

We have one of these... bought at Sam's last year or so. It is a great sweeper. Easy to use and VERY effective. Not terribly heavy so no problems with pushing or moving. Was WAS always a Hoover fan... but now I'd tell folks “buy this and you will not go wrong”.

I bought this vacuum during the one day sale last weekend and oh buddy it's phenomenal! I have researched vacuums for almost a year, looking to replace my old Kenmore sweeper from 14 years ago. In my mind I thought my old vacuum was still doing a great job, I just wanted to have a new one in case it ever died. Well after purchasing the shark my 14 year old vacuum is going into permanent retirement!! I was quite appalled when I used my new shark on my living room carpeting. I'm pretty sure I pulled enough hair out of it to make a new cat! GROSS!! All the while the zero m technology didn't fail me with my long hair getting tangled, or the duoclean on my hardwoods! Yay! I always hated the blow back of fine debris on hard surfaces, and I had none of that while using the vacuum. To say I am tickled pink is an understatement! Just FYI I have little ones so I usually vacuum daily, and so far it has been a joy using this machine! Time will tell for longevity of the vacuum, but fingers crossed it last just as long as my previous one!

We purchased this to replace a Dyson that we had for nearly 8 years. It cleans up really well and does pick up dog hair great. It is a little bulky and not the easiest to push. However, in less than 120 days the main suction unit broke. Headed back to return and get a Dyson.

This vacuum is powerful. The floor looks clean, yet when vacuumed with this vac, dirt appears in the receptacle. Sucks dust out of cushions. My couch and chair colors were brighter after I cleaned them with the vac and its attachment. It's heavy. It's difficult to maneuver. I need to use an attachment to get under furniture. I will not use this as my daily vacuum, but for weekly or biweekly cleaning, it is amazing. Great for pet hair.

I bought this on 5/7/20. I tried to like it, but the canister doesn't seal well at all. It is hard to handle and uncomfortable to use. Compared to the 11 year old Dyson I'm looking to replace, it was totally inferior. Glad there's a great return policy at Sam's.

I have used uprights, handhelds, robots, etc. Without a doubt, this one takes the prize. The nuance is in its versatility. This vacuum can clean both hard wood flooring and carpeting. It also gives you the ability to adjust the suction depending on the surface you're covering. Without a doubt the best feature is the lift away component. The option to essentially make this into a handheld device for stairs and other hard to clean areas is epic! It is still heavier than a traditional handheld vacuum, but it's also significantly more powerful. You also have the option of using the wand (and any of it's many attachments) for cleaning exclusively. The best part is that this product is designed to allow smooth transitions between the various functions. As if that wasn't enough, it is easy to setup, maneuver, clean, and store. It does a spectacular job of capturing dust and has lights to help guide you to anything you may have missed. It is efficient and makes the job go by quickly. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So ive have owned a Shark vacuum for years and years and that one has help up so much more impressively than I would have ever thought. After 5 years I wanted to try the latest and greatest and WOW am I impresses. This vacuum has everything! Like every bell and whistle that you could ever need an then some that you didn't even know you needed until you have them! I love all the attachment options and the light at the bottom so you can actually see what you are vacuuming up. The only thing is that the range of motion can sometimes be a little too much and after a while is kind of hard on the wrist (trying to keep it straight) and prevent it from doing its own thing. I hope this is just user error but if you have a bad wrist I would keep this in mind. Other than that I love love love it!

I love this vacuum. It is lightweight and so easy to maneuver throughout my home. I am a senior citizen and find I literally can pick up the vacuum with easy. I was so surprised on how much dirt and dog hair it picked up after using my 11 year old Dyson. Another great feature is how easy it is to detach the wand during cleaning the rooms. My old vacuum was heavy and hard to use. My husband is surprised how often I used the vacuum and am excited to clean the furniture and walls also.
