This thing was full after vacuuming what I thought was a clean carpet. I go from carpet to bare floor without stopping, and without debris being flung out at my feet (like my old vacuum did). I went from Dyson to Shark with this purchase and I will never go back!!

Good - This vacuum has good suction and does a pretty good job on both bare and carpeted floors. Waste canister is easy to dump. Vacuums under low furniture, at least a few inches. Self-cleaning brushes seem to work well. Bad - It is narrow,heavy and does not maneuver easily. The hose does not detach easily and pulls the machine over if you use it more than a foot or two away. not all of the attachments have a assigned spot on the machine, so they have to be stored and retrieved as needed.

I love this vacuum! I've only had it a few weeks, however it works so well. My carpet can appear clean, however when I run the vacuum, it picks up so much. My old vacuum was another brand and very expensive. It still “works” but is about eight years old and can't even hold a candle to this one!!!

I absolutely LOVE this vacuum! The suction is amazing and so easy to clean out, especially with the washable filter. Easy to use the attachments and the self cleaning roller brush is a huge perk! This is a must have investment for cleaning your home!

I bought this for my son thinking it was the same one I had gotten from Sam's. It is not. There is no height setting for carpets so it sucks up all his area rugs and you have to turn off the vacuum to reset the vacuum head. There are no lights on the handle or front of the vacuum which are extremely helpful on mine. It didn't come with a soft brush attachment for cleaning furniture and tv screens. The power switch is also on the canister part rather than the handle like it is on mine. The only positive is he received an extension arm which goes under furniture. I'm disappointed because I told him how much I loved mine. It was a housewarming gift for his first place but apparently not a good one.

The Shark Rotator Lift-Away Vacuum ia outstanding!. The suction is strong and the dirt cup empties easily. I'm so glad i purchased this Vacuum. However, the assembly instructions are not very good. A friend of mine has a similar model, so he was able to put it together. There are not enough places for the tools. The instructions show places to put the extra tools, but there aren't any such places to put the tools. So maybe if Shark can address this issue, it would be appreciated! Can Sam's please send this question to Shark Company? Thank you very much.

Excellent vacuum and great value since I was able to get it on sale and an improvement over my older Shark vacuum. Very happy with the power and ease of use. The only thing I do not like is that there is no dusting brush attachment with it. I had already donated my old one and now have to purchase a dusting brush attachment as I use that attachment regularly.

I do like my shark vacuum but I do not like the attachment that is suppose to be a duster. It is very long which I like but hard to maneuver the end of it. Maybe I don't have it attached right. It is heavy but not too bad for this 74 year old. The power is fantastic. The other attachment are great!

I purchased this Shark vacuum because I loved my last Shark. This has the lift away feature, not available on my last model. It is heavier than I imagined it would be. The hose is too short to do the entire standard size staircase. The dirt canister is also smaller and this style does not hold all the accessory tools. On the pro side it has better suction.

Husband wanted a lift away, although he never stated why. Nor has he used it yet. And I wanted a beater bar that hair didnt wrap hair it around it as I was tired of tearing things apart and spending a couple hours pulling hair ,thread and fur out of it every month. It is unbelieveable how well it works. I keep checking it and nothing has wrapped around the beater bar.
