Bought this for my mom as i thought it was like ours. It was not. It is heavy and seems cheaply made. It doesn't come apart easily as it should to be able to use the features and the part that shouldn't come apart kept coming apart. We are returning

Picked up dog hair great .Swivel head really helped to vacuum. Only problem was vacuum was delivered and put in front of garage, close to sidewalk and street. It was not put at front door.our area has packages stolen.So I was lucky no one took it.so I was upset about delivery.

I thought this would be like my shark old vacuum from 2 years ago, but it's not. ( I bought a second one for my daycare, i still have the old one that i like) This vacuum is bulkier, does not turn as easy, And it doesn't lift away so you can get under furniture with the head of the vacuum. I have hardwood floors and with the old style you had the hardwood/carpet converter on the handle, this one is at the base. It overall feels like it was made out of cheaper materials as well. It does do a great job on rugs. I definitely wouldn't recommend this to anybody this specific model, 2 years ago I would've, but then they had to change it.

Had this for over a month now. It replaced an Oreck. Though the Oreck was lighter, this Shark made has much higher air flow and a far superior brush system. I have 3 cats and was forever cleaning the brush roll. No more! And it's MUCH quieter, as well. Good purchase!

Worth it! Can't BELIEVE how much came out of the carpet !!! We're renting our current house and had a black and decker but it was DEFINITELY time for an upgrade. I contemplated between a Dyson and Shark, did tons of research, read lots of reviews, talked to a few people that have both. Ultimately, I went with the Shark and SO happy I did. I'm disgusted in how much dust/dirt, etc came out of these floors! I had a full tank of dirt 1/2 way through our bedroom... YUCK!!! By far the most alarming thing is that I'm a vacuum every day kind of mom... because #toddlers... and my black and decker never would have never got what this vacuum could. What they say is so true... “you get what you pay for”. I love the attachments, how long the cord is, it's bagless, can detach the tank & clean your car, it has a nice LED light on the front that is so bright, it's easy to assemble, love the fact that it can switch from carpet to tile with a click of the button, the fact that I can run the vacuum and my newborn doesn't flinch even with the vacuum near their head and my screaming toddler chasing me. LOL. It picks up everything in its path , doesn't have that kick back like other vacuums that just blows the dirt elsewhere leaving you to have to use the broom also before mopping. It gets the job done the first time. You won't regret it, comes with a 5 year warranty , shark actually backs their products. Love it

I LOVE my new Shark vacuum! I have 2 little doggos who seem to produce their weight in fur balls throughout the house, and this picks up every bit of it, with NO hair wrap around the rollers. It makes such a difference not having to get the scissors out to clean the brushroll every time! After having a Dyson years ago and not being too satisfied (especially for the $$$) I became a fan of Shark and have probably had 5 of their products since then, including a Shark steam mop. I bought this vacuum to replace a Shark Rotator vacuum that I've had for a couple years, and there's nothing wrong with that one except not having the self-cleaning brushroll. But I just had to have this one! I'm already eyeing their new Shark "Uplight" for quick cleans. My husband says that I am a vacuum queen and that Shark needs to quit innovating these great new products or we will run out of storage space for them LOL.

Love this vacuum, I have a lot of pet hair, very good at picking it up.

My Family and I love the Shark lift away. The suction is great and the lift awy perfect for steps.

GOOD vacuum but, very hard to manuver on carpet and seriously heavy to push!
