I felt like this is just wrong. Previous monitors from other manufacturers have speakers. Now I have to go and purchase a speaker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this monitor yesterday and for the price it can’t be beat. You get a bigger monitor for a very reasonable price and performs like a small expensive gaming monitor! There are a couple caveauts... no internal speakers(no big deal if you always use a headset like myself), only HDMI output X2(also no big deal if your rig has multiple HDMI outputs). That said, the monitor is light, since I mount mine on a adjustable arm I wanted it to be lighter so I didn’t have to worry about a larger heavy monitor sagging. With the aspect ratio I can open 4 windows on two monitors, now I don’t have to buy 2 additional monitors. Small border so when two monitors sit side by side it creates a near seamless display.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Screen at 60hz is great for gaming. I can have OBS running in a 4in window while the 24ineft or running whatever game I'm StreamingAs well as work production. Im able to have excel my, my work email, and a third window with allot of space.

The slim case and it’s so light but full of power. Love the toggle to switch between modes. You can tell a lot of thought and engineering qualities are there. I highly recommended to anyone whether you need as a 2nd monitor or just one this is it. Customer service is super. I always get compliments on the size of this screen and it’s quality. LG did a super job on production of this model. Great job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The monitor looks and performs well, however it required a download of the most current control software from the LG site. Before that Windows 10 did not seem to recognize the correct display type and set the resolution too low and the refresh rate at 59Hz rather than the recommended 60Hz. This caused the monitor to re-sync (i.e., go blank for a few seconds) periodically. Once the proper software was downloaded it worked fine. I have 2 minor gripes about the monitor stand. 1) the height is not adjustable and 2) the stand has a single mount point in the center of the monitor which when combined with the width of the monitor allows it to rock slightly if the desk is bumped. These issues are easily compensated for and considering the price are not a deterrent. I would recommend this monitor for a home setup.

This has turned out to be a great alternative and in some ways a better option as I see more of a large format document at once on this wide screen whereas if I had two monitors, I would be limited to what would fit on one monitor.

I've owned the LG 29" widescreeen for over 1 year now. love it enough to buy another one today. I have a three screen set up. I will now have 2 LG 29" ultra widescreens and 1 HP 19. Use it for work. no gamming at all. But for me, All of my displays view so much better on the widescreen. Then if need to I can split the view on one screen at two separate web sites.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ultra-wide was a perfect fit for me desktop opening. I was using another brand TV as a monitor for years. With this LG monitor, please can set three useable work windows across it whereas the tv was awkward with even two. Better productivity, less eye strain and best use of my available space. I could not have found a better solution.
