I started out with the Samsung smart monitor and it took over an hour to set up only to discover that the remote would interfere with my 50 Samsung TV. I bought this LG monitor and simply plugged it in, and connected iMac. It worked immediately. Yay! No issues. In fact, it's almost too big.

Love this monitor! I work from home now and can have 3-4 apps open to preform my job! I was using 2 monitors and this is so much better and gives me more room on my desk

I've been using this monitor for 3 weeks now and I couldn't be more pleased with it. I'm not intending to use it for gaming, but primarily for CAD design work and it works great for allowing my display area and my model tree area to be side by side without having such a small area for the working area.

This monitor turned out better than expected, most of the negative reviews I see is people talking about it being a narrow display I don't think people realize that all it is is a stretched one it still has the aspect ratio I can normal display and holy cow sometimes I have to question myself if it's not an OLED screen it has really deep blacks and it folds me a lot making me think that it has HDR 10 plus it's really a beautiful screen. The only thing I would play with would be the contrast but most of the settings out the box are perfect!!

The size is perfect for my standing desk. I was able to get rid of the 2 monitor set up. I no longer have the problem of my mouse disappearing when moving from monitor to monitor. I use the Windows spilt screen function to organize windows for viewing (Windows key + left/right arrow).

Really good product! Worth the price..

The quality is outstanding, the split screen options are many, there are multiple pre-settings for cinema, photo, etc. or you can customize your own. Easy out of the box set up. My only complaint is that it comes with a disk to download the driver and settings app. My laptop doesn’t have a disk drive, so I had to go out on the Internet and find the driver myself.

I bought this w/o realizing you can't adjust the height of the monitor and it is VERY short. However, if you keep this in mind and are willing to purchase a monitor stand you won't beat this price. The screen is great. It's perfect if you would rather use side-by-side on one screen versus using two separate monitors.

The monitor looks and performs well, however it required a download of the most current control software from the LG site. Before that Windows 10 did not seem to recognize the correct display type and set the resolution too low and the refresh rate at 59Hz rather than the recommended 60Hz. This caused the monitor to re-sync (i.e., go blank for a few seconds) periodically. Once the proper software was downloaded it worked fine. I have 2 minor gripes about the monitor stand. 1) the height is not adjustable and 2) the stand has a single mount point in the center of the monitor which when combined with the width of the monitor allows it to rock slightly if the desk is bumped. These issues are easily compensated for and considering the price are not a deterrent. I would recommend this monitor for a home setup.

Monitor works fine and has a good picture, but the on-screen display software that allows for split screen is buggy and often does not work correctly, fails to initialize, or creates a problem with the display adapter where the screen cycles on and off. Turning monitor off then back on usually corrects the cycling problem. I have yet to get PiP to work correctly.
