I wish I did not waste my money on this product. I am a Tidy Cat user but this is the worst litter ever. It does not clump at all. My litter box pretty much turns into a sludge box when my cats use it. I have broken 1 or 2 scooper already trying to clean it. I do not recommend this.

Worst cat litter I've ever used! By day 2 with one cat using litter pan it already stinks so bad I can't stand it and I scoop the poop out each day. Then when I try to clean the pan I discover the litter has turned into one solid mass that's stuck to the bottom of the pan and has to be scraped off to get it off with an object because not even banging the pan on the ground would not unstick it from the pan. WHAT A MESS!!!!!!

I have used this a few times and although it is SUPERB at controlling odor, it gets all over the house. It seems to stay on the cats paws and I find it all over the laundry room, kitchen floor and even in our bed!! I have a rug and well as one of those mats that are supposed to help keep the litter from getting all over. Nothing helps. You either have to sweep and vaccum every time the cat uses the litter or just get used to walking on it. At least this is my experience with it. I wish they could figure out a way to fix that because I really do like the way it controls the odor. For now, I will be going back to my other brand..

I received a sample of this in the mail and it is now my favorite of the Tidy Cats lightweight line. The scent is light and fresh so it does not irritate my kitties noses but really helps to keep the litter box areas smelling clean. I have had no problems with any of my cats accepting this litter. It does get kicked out of the box more then regular litter since it is so light so I use a large rubber mat to catch it and just pour it back in when I am cleaning the boxes.This also helps cut down on the tracking which I find happens with most litters.The clumping seems to be the same as regular litter and their is very little dust when I am pouring into boxes so I am not coughing and sneezing.The only downside really is the price being higher then regular and it seems that I have to add litter to the box more often. The fact that I have two large boxes I will pay the extra though because dumping and cleaning the boxes can be pure torture with regular litter.

This is the second time I've tried Tidy Cats light weight litter and I must say they have not improved the dust problem. I normally use Tidy Cats blue lid litter and it works great except for it turning into concrete and being very difficult to scrape off the sides of the litter pan when wet. I like the ease of cleaning the lightweight variety brings and it's easier on my shoulders to carry. I wish Tidy Cats could make a version that smells like the regular blue lid clay variety. I'm not that pleased with the odor of the red lid variety and would never consider getting the kind with Glade added-that would be awful. There is just too much dust; it is NOT almost dust free as the label claims. It's too expensive to have such a bad dust problem.

Like many others commenting I used to love tidy cats litter. I recently bought a very large bucket of the four in one lightweight litter on Amazon to save a little money. Let me start by saying that the order is sickeningly sweet and does a poor job of covering the order of the cats waste. As far as clumping goes this doesn't clump tightly at all. Soon as I touch the clump of the scooper it falls apart. I feel like I just threw away money because I need to replace this as soon as possible with something of better quality. I hope that the company takes note of what's going on and fixes the problems. If I could give this product zero stars I would.

I have 3 cats and I had switched to another brand the said it was the best in odor control. Well, I had always used Tidy Cats and I switched just to see.... what a shocker this other liter, name brand as well, was horrible!! I had to clean kitty box out several times a day to keep up with the odor and it was not very good at clumping. Sorry, Tidy Cats, I will never doubt you again! In addition, this new Glade tough odor... LOVE IT!!!! Clumps great and no smell, even if I forget to clean the box of a day!! Only down side is, my cats track it all over, but a small price to pay for no odor, in an apartment!!

I recently purchased the Tidy Cat Glade Clear Springs Clumping Litter and the product quality is so poor that I will no longer be purchasing the Tidy Cat brand at all and will instead be purchasing other products, even if I have to order them online. Our local grocery store, like many, has faced shortages and the pet section itself isn't a large one. When we were attempting to stock up a month ago, one of the only litters available was the Tidy Cat Glade so we bought several containers so our cats wouldn't be facing the same problem their owners were with toilet tissue. Imagine our dismay when we discovered that the litter does not clump /at all/, and instead, any urine simply spreads/sinks to the bottom of the litter pan. Rather than scooping, we are now forced to spread the litter very thinly (which our two cats do not like) and empty the entire pan out completely on a daily basis. Even this isn't a great solution, because by the time we arrive home from work, the cat box can be stinky from being unattended all day and our bathroom ends up smelling like ammonia. I wish we could afford to simply throw it away, but we can't. I was shocked to see the product itself is receiving /any/ stars on this product page and advise everyone to steer clear of this cat litter at all costs if you have a multiple cat household.

I tried this product months ago and love the lightweight container made even better with the two handles! ONLY one drawback is this kitty litter is so finely granulated that it is easily tracked thru the house! Great clumping though and does help with odors!

I have been using various brands and types of clumping litter for the past 3 years. Nothing beats Tidy Cat Lightweight Clumping litter. I was not concerned about the weight of other litters, I tried this to see if it was really all that good at clumping and keeping the litter box clean. Definitely the best clumping litter on the market. It keeps the litter box so much cleaner than the other varieties. Makes this litter a bargain in the long run. We do not have to 'change out' the litter nearly as often.
