After seeing all the negative posts I had to respond with how much I disagree. Maybe it depends on your cat? I'm not sure, but my healthy 4 and 7 year old kitties have no problems with this litter. Their litter box is literally right next to my toilet. Not only does it never stink, it is like an air freshener for the bathroom. It smells so good, even when I need to clean the box, which I do about every other day. I've tried a ton of different litters and this is by far my favorite. When I pick my cats up to hold them they even smell fresh like Glade! It's great! Oh, and it clumps tight every time! Great product, great price! All I ever buy!

I got this litter to try out and i love it compared to the other litters ive tried. I have 3 cats and i have tried tons of different litters. This litter smells great,is so light and clumps super tight. No more smelly boxes or urine sitting at the bottom of the box. I will definitely be buying this litter from now on.. I love it and so do my kitties!!

I got this a month ago as a trial for free through the mail. The litter itself is great like all the other Tidy Cats but for me I can't stand the smell. The litter has a lot of dust. Not just when changing the litter to clean but scooping really raises it also. I practically choke on it. I luv that it is so light but there are sacrifices that have to be made and I am not willing to do that. I cannot handle the smell and the dust.

I have tried a few different brands and types of litters and have 3 cats. They were feral kittens we rescued at 5 weeks from the neighborhood bushes and decided to keep them as [art of our family. With the addition of 3 cats my biggest concern was the litter boxes and the cost. I had tried this Purina litter from another store but wanted to find a better price. Man oh man was I excited that I found find this pack of litter. This is such a good deal for such a good brand that I hope it continues to be available through Sams Club. It also scoops and clumps well and smells fantastic. You don't have to drill it off the bottom as it doesn't get stuck. You just give it a little scrape and you're golden, it loosens right up. I just freshened up the cat boxes and the cats came in and used the boxes and no odor after they covered their business :) A+

Thank you for the free sample. Can always use cat litter with my two cats. I love the glade scent that helps keep it odor free and the lightweight container because I am disabled and so it is easier for me to pick up. My one concern is the price difference. Other than that love it'

This stuff reeks. Both myself and my husband were overpowered by the flowery smell. It seems that one of my cats agrees with us. One of them defecated outside the box today (very unusual for our household). If we have another accident I'll have to dump the barely-used box and buy another brand. If you buy this, be sure to keep the receipt so you can try to get your money back!

I never (really, never) leave reviews for things, but this new "scent control" was so bad that I had to share this. First, I really appreciate Tidy Cats brand clumping cat litter. By far, the Tidy Cats brand provides *the best* overall clumping cat litter on the market. BUT, this new brand - Tidy Cats Glade Tough Odor Solutions - is the worst smelling litter I've ever used. Out of the box it smells funny, and after use it smells worse. Rancid is what comes to mind. I bought this particular "version" because it was new and we were about to go out of town for a week. We came home to a unpleasant smell thinking it was the fact that the two-litter boxes (one cat) was the cause. I cleaned the boxes out (there was still plenty of fresh litter available), but the next day the house smelled funny again. It was definitely the litter. The 24/7 performance version is the best of what they have to offer, and I will recommend this to anyone. This new "Glade" collaboration is something to avoid.

This is the second time I've tried Tidy Cats light weight litter and I must say they have not improved the dust problem. I normally use Tidy Cats blue lid litter and it works great except for it turning into concrete and being very difficult to scrape off the sides of the litter pan when wet. I like the ease of cleaning the lightweight variety brings and it's easier on my shoulders to carry. I wish Tidy Cats could make a version that smells like the regular blue lid clay variety. I'm not that pleased with the odor of the red lid variety and would never consider getting the kind with Glade added-that would be awful. There is just too much dust; it is NOT almost dust free as the label claims. It's too expensive to have such a bad dust problem.

I love this litter! I had been using another type of Tidy Cats that I had really liked however this is better than that. I have 5 cats which go out into a cat kennel to potty sometimes which is loaded with sand. I have 2 large litter boxes in the house for inside use. They seem to like this better than the other kind and it is far easier to clean out as it clumps very well. No smell to ruin the kitty room air either.

I must say, I had my doubts about the effectiveness of the Lightweight, but decided to try it anyway. I am thrilled with the results! It's a much cleaner litter and seems to work better than the regular, in my opinion ... not to mention it's lightweight quality. A+++
