I have 10k miles on my Generals and am very happy. I was disappointed that I didn't get to try them in any snow to see how they did. But ride quality,wet performance, noise are all above average. Are there better tires? Yes, but not many. And all of those are twice the price. Will I buy again? Yes. Even if I only were to get 30k miles out of them. But they have hardly worn any at all so far. Buy them. You will like them.

2012 Honda Fit Sport (5-speed).  Good traction in the wet.  Good traction in the dry.  Quiet tires compared to the Yokohamas that were on the car before.  A little softer in the corners, but I like how the tires do not track as easily with grooves in the road surface.  Driven 25 miles a day on a mix of side streets, 4 lane roads, and highways.  I only use these in the non-snow seasons.  Easy pick for compact cars in my experience.  Hope this review helps.

This is my second set of Altimax RT43's. The first set is on a 2011 Hyundai Genesis Sedan. They are quiet and are wearing like iron. The second set is on a 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Grand Touring and have improved the ride and handling over the tires that were previously on the car. I am extremely satisfied and based on experience, I will buy Generals again.

I have put 4 sets of these tires on my family's cars and have been very happy with all of them, I work in a repair shop and sell these all the time and my customers are pleased with them, I call them your best bang for your dollar for tires, a great value.

I bought these tires 2 months ago to replace the original tires on my Rav 4. Quite a difference, first I noticed that they were much quieter and the ride was smoother. Excellent traction in pouring down rain on High speed Highway. Drove from Pennsylvania to Illinois and back at high  speeds and had no problems.  Very pleased that my Auto Service  Manager recommended these tires.

When I was shopping for new tires my tire and auto service center's service rep  recommended these Altimax RT43 tires for my sedan. I told him we used this vehicle for long road trips and wanted tires that were quiet and provided a smooth and comfortable. He said he had put this brand and style on his wife's car and she really liked them. Well, after 3 months I'm glad he did, they are out-performing any previous brand we've had.

These Altimax RT 43 s grip so much better in the snow that it almost seems like I'm driving a different car. The old tires were cheap and worn Sumic brand. I also have General Altima RT 43s on my 2014 Camry. They grip well in rain , snow , and on dry pavement.

Winter snows lower the mileage on all of our vehicles by an average of almost 10 mpg per vehicle.  The vehicle I drive the most a Hyundai Santa Fe averages 20/21 mpg with snow tires, and when switched over to the All-weather AltiMax 43 mpg increased to 29/31 mpg.   Now retired, gave away the snow tires, and we now handle Winter with the All Weather General tires.  Took a 2 month trip around the country May/June after retiring, hit snow, ice, heat etc.,  and had no problems with the different conditions, nor was mileage affected.

I had a set of Michelins on my Ford Transit Connect and replaced them with general RT 43.The generals in the rain when I accelerate from stop signs and red lights spin uncontrollably. I only have about 5000 miles on this set of tires in a years time because of the virus. I would not purchase these tires again because of their poor performance.

They are better than a four, but they are brand new. I had a set of General Grabber's on my 94 Ford Ranger for about 4 1/2 years and got about 60k on them when they were finally about worn out with 2-3/32 of tread on them. So I was going to buy another set because they were great.  However they didn't make them in my size so I bought these instead in the last week of June 2019, and man and I happy.  These are EXTREMELY quiet was the first thing I noticed.  They had an initial grip from being virgin rubber that I really like but I thought that would wear away very quickly.  So far I've put 1000 miles on them in dry and most recently a severe down pour with several inches of rain that I had a very long drive in.  THey performed like no body's business.  Not a single bit of hydroplaning or squirly steering at all.  Gripped the roads during sharp turns at high speeds all the time.  I can't rate tread life due to being new and I can't rate fuel effiency because they haven't changed it.
