I bought these tires about a year ago.  I've put over 25,000 miles on them.  They are quiet, have good grip on corners, and handle water well.  I had good luck with the General Grabbers ATs on my truck and like the General brand.  These tires did not disappoint.  I've only driven in snow a few times as I usually drive my truck on snowy weather days.  The tires are not bad on snow and I had no problems with them in snowy driving conditions.  I would advise a friend to buy these tires and will probably replace them with the same tires when the time comes.

I have worked in the car business for over 35 years, but never had a set of General tires.  I bought them because of the traction rating and the write up more than anything. The tires cut the road noise in half! very smooth.  I already am trying to get a co-worker and a customer to get them after just one day.

This is my second set of these tires on my 2006 Buick Lacrosse. The first set I got 54,500 miles on them and could have gone a bit longer but the winter weather was approaching. These tires do not last however on the low profile sizes. I also had put them on an Hyundai Elantra and didn't get 27,000 miles off either set I had purchased.

I bought these for my daughter's Honda Civic. Her old tires were so loud when you were driving you could not hear yourself think. These tires did the trick! They are very quiet and are awesome in the rain and light snow. I highly recommend these tires and TireRack got them to me in ONE day!!

I purchased these tires 6 months ago and installed them on my Toyota Avalon. Living in Cleveland Ohio I am very happy with the performance of my tires. There great in snow 4 to 6"" they provide good traction and light snowfalls to. Living on the east side is the snowbelt.  I only have about 5,000 miles on my new tires but I like them. I am hoping for 50,000 mile longevity like many people are stating their getting. Time will tell. Like I said I am happy. Gonna buy 4 more for my wives jeep. She has MasterCard tires now, but there to noisy. I'm thinking these Altimax with work good on her vehicle as well.

This is the second set I have purchased for my old Neon. I do not baby this car at all. That being said, the tires handle well. The wet traction is very good even to the end of usable life. I got 45k miles out of the last set which is very acceptable considering how aggressive I drive.

I drive a lot and I had BF Goodrich TA Advantage tires and they were loud and I couldn't get them to balance out so I bought the Altimax tires in March 2020, on my brothers recommendation.  As of January 2021, I've accumulated 52,000 miles and I bet I get through the summer with them as they are wearing fantastic!  I liked them so much I put a set on my sons 2002 Honda Accord EX and he says the snow and ice traction are excellent in Chicago winters!   I highly recommend this tire!

Good but not certainly not great.  For reference I drive a 2015 Taurus SEL.  The ride from these tires I would consider as very good.  Road noise is  low.  The main detractions I have noticed is:  traction in heavy rain is poor and handling at higher speeds is not solid.  I was suprised when I sensed the car sliding while driving in a heavy rain at 65 -70 MP;  I took my foot off the accelerator and it immediately straightened out.  I have not had them long enough to comment on wear.  The tires I had before these were Pirelli Centuratos,  they were not as good as the AltiMAX on ride and noise,  but better on rain and handling.

I bought these tires about 3 months ago. They have good traction no worries about hydroplaneing. The price is right, economical plus good value. I've had general tires in the past and always had great performance. These I'm sure will give the same results.

I'm retired and can spend extra time researching an important purchase like new tires. The tires were for a 2009 Lexus RX 350. This is the first time I've purchased General Tires. The claims for a long lasting, quiet tire were very important but the claim for better mileage may have tipped the scales. This winter we drove round trip to Tucson—total miles were 6000+. My wife commented right away how quiet the tires were. The bonus was the improved mileage, which went from 20mpg on the old tires to 23mpg with the new General AltiMax Rt43. The research paid off.
