I like to hear it suck the air in everytime I close, it. After 6 months, it does everything a freezer should, and an upright is easier to find what I buried. Haven't had to defrost it, YET !!!! Doesn't even have a coating of ice YET, but I also only open it 2 or 3 times a week for purchased-on-sale items, or to transfer them to refrig's freezer compartment.

I read a lot of reviews, and I'm pleased to say it arrived unscathed, with no dents or scratches. Now, when I went to change the door opening, well, that's when I hit a snag. The little plastic screws weren't unscrewing. Popping them off, they break. And with only tilting it to a certain degree, it was extremely difficult to unsrew the bottom hinge. Once I accomplished that, I set it to 3 and plugged that baby in. I threw in a large ice tray and tested it... it froze solid in quick time. I actually love my little freezer.

Was not notified that the freezer was at the front door. It was upside down for quite a long time before we found it outside. After we opened it up, there was a dent in the corner where it had been turned upside down. I guess I shouldn’t expect much, but I would at least have someone, let us know what they would like to do about this

It did have a little dent, but that didn't affect the operation of it. It fit perfectly under the rack in my laundry room. Cons: it doesn't have a light inside,and I don't think the shelves come out. I also noticed that when you close the door it is a little noisy, I'm guessing it's getting back to the set temperature. I hope it lasts but i would recommend

This is a simple non-automatic defrosting freezer I bought to store meat and frozen dinners because the freezer in the refrigerator that’s in my apartment is not big enough. Frost accumulates around the very top and some pops out when you open the door, but it’s not much, and it does its job. My apartment is small and the freezer is in my bedroom but it is very quiet. This freezer was on sale for just a little more than the small freezers and I am glad I got it because I had under estimated how much room I needed.

Like everyone else, the price of groceries got me down. When this upright freezer was put on sale for under $200, I knew I should get one. This is a nice size, about two feet wide. The shelves are fixed but that is fine with me.. The door gasket is very strong and keeps it cold. The outside is a nice stainless and very sleek. Now I can freeze meals (chili, stew, pintos) and buy meat on sale! This will pay for itself in a few months.

It came up in good shape, with No dents. It works very well and excellent price from Walmart. The only reason it lost a star was that the shelves are made from thin wires that if got dirty were a hassle to clean, but we used some vinyl sheets on them.

At first we were worried since people commented about the damage. However, it was delivered in a good shape. Fedex dropped it inside my opened garage. It was easy to open and setup. Everything is so far so good and we are happy with this purchase. It is a little bit hard to pull out the door but I guess it is on the manufacturer’s purpose to keep the door close tightly.

Two weeks in and so far so good! I like the fact that after the door closes it actually vacuum seals itself shut you can hear it. It’s not super big but it’s big enough and it matches my refrigerator. It was packaged well, but there was obviously a huge dent in it before they put the packaging on, but it does function still and you can’t see it because it’s in the back.
