We had a 4.7 cu Ft one before this one but I highly recommend this one as it is MUCH bigger. I have only done 4 loads since I got it since it holds so much more than my 4.7. It is also considerably quieter than all I'd my prior machines. Also, I highly recommend getting it while the energy efficient appliances still have a sales tax break. This was a win all the way around!

Loving our new washer. I like the connectability to the LG app and being able to start it remotely. On that note, I love the delay feature and being able to set it for hours into the future so I don't have to worry about letting wet clothes sit too long, or needing to start it when I get home. It's clean and relatively quiet, and it works well.

This washer is a lot nosier than I was expecting. The pump during the rinse cycle is loud. I had a similar LG model before this one and it was not this loud. Also, the liquid soap dispenser always fills with water during the rinse cycle so I have to empty the water before doing the next load. Aside from the noise, it does a great job washing the clothes.

I am a heavy user as I have a big family. This washing machine has held up well under heavy use. I love all the different settings and features. The capacity is amazing. I can easily fit my large comforter. My only complaint is that sometimes when I open it the lid makes a "popping" sound.

My wife and I bought our new LG Washer almost 2 weeks ago, and we simply live it! The wash comes out clean and thanks to the Turbo Wash feature, they come out almost dry and wrinkle free! Most importantly, it runs extremely quiet and hardly uses any water at all! I would highly recommend this Washing Machine to anyone!

Bought in October as replacement for LG front load washer that was failing and developed unresolved odor problem. This new machine has no rubber seal that would recreate the odor problem. Takes large loads without a problem, is quieter and quicker wash than front loader. Loaded with features, including tub wash.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced an 11 year old front loader. It is a very intelligent machine. It has cut the wash time in half saving both water and electricity. If you have the ThinQ app on your phone you can manage the wash and even customize wash cycles. The app will even tell you when to run a cleaning cycle. The washer can be Wi-Fi paired with a dryer and the washer will recommend the proper dryer settings based on what the washer sensed through its cycles. The users manual is available on the app and is much better there than the paper version. This was a highly rated washer and it hasn't disappointed. The biggest change going from the front loader to top load is the tub depth. If you are short you may need a step stool or grabber to get the wash from the bottom of the tun. Very quiet and well balanced. I highly recommend it.

Pump failed 5 months in. Not happy. Service took a month. Would like a refund.

Two month old top load washer developed rust in the spin basket. Warranty replaced. Too soon to judge replacement.

Not very happy with our washer! The detergent dispenser always has water left in it after a complete washing cycle. Not good!! Thanks
