I am so pleased that I chose this washer. I am for the first time in many years caught up with my wash!! The top loading feature is easier for me to use, and the wash never takes more than 45 minutes to be done. Plus, I think the laundry is cleaner than my old front loader.

At 5.5 cu ft...this holds a lot of laundry. With Normal wash, some of the detergent gets stuck on the cloths that are on top. I have to use Deep Wash so that water covers all of the laundry. We are using the Extra High Spin .... however the clothes seems to be damp...comparing it to our front load LG Washer. The LG Front Load WM3470HVA does a great job of removing the dampness on the laundry. The top load washer does not shake the house compared to the front load washer. If your height is less than 5 ft 6 in......you will have a hard time getting out all of those clothes in the washer. This washer is deep...you might need a stepping stool to be able to retrieve all of the laundry if your height is less than 5 ft 6 inches. Since this washer does not have an agitator....it is best to put the dirtiest clothes at the bottom of the washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good: cycles are pretty quick, it's easy enough to customize cycles, and the clothes come out fine. It's efficient. The less good: randomly leaked one time. Makes a terrible metallic clinking noise when changing steps in a cycle that is very disconcerting. Haven't had a chance to test it yet with something really dirty to know how well it does. Should be better for the price. I suspect it won't last for 10+ years like my old one.

This was purchased November 2022. In December 2022 it began leaking water and stopped working. The manufacturer never has an available date to come fix it. Therefore, I am stuck going to the washerteria (which I have not used in over 35 years). LG stated I would have to pay for repairs. This is the worst product I have ever purchased. Buyer Beware!!!!!!

I was replacing an old washer that was in the house I bought. The old washer would go off balance constantly and sounded like an earthquake. My previous house also had an old model that shook and banged when you used it. When I decided to upgrade to this one with a much larger capacity, impeller instead of agitator, and all the bells and whistles with wifi and whatnot, I was not familiar with more modern washers. I was so used to old crappy washers that I kept going to check that this new one was actually working because it was SO quiet! I love the ability to download wash cycles that aren't prebuilt into the washer. I love the app that tells you when your wash is done. I LOVE the capacity since I wash a lot of large blankets covered in pet hair. I hope this washer is sturdy and lasts a long time, because it's pretty much perfect.

I was surprised by the capacity, in fact I can barely reach the bottom to remove washed clothes and I'm not a petite woman. I like that I'm notified when a load is complete. The dispensers for detergent and fabric softener work very well. My towels haven't been this soft since I purchased them. Overall I would rate this machine a 10 and highly recommend.

I replaced a 15 year old Kenmore front loading washer that had come to the end of its life cycle. (No pun intended.). I chose LG, because of the highest quality ratings given by Consumer Reports. I got the top loader, because of the serious mold and mildew problem that I had with the front loader. No more constantly cleaning the gasket and bad odors. The LG is very quite and the technology is very impressive. It also takes a lot less time to run a load and it is very energy efficient too. I highly recommend LG.

I absolutely love this LG washer! Due to its huge size, (large Capacity) I can toss in my king comforter with ease, and there is no obstruction gadgit (agitator) up the middle so large blankets don't get twisted or knotted. It makes laundry a breeze! Thrilled with my purchase! It is also beautiful to look at in the graphite gray color!

Since I have had my LG for the past 2 years, it has brought me joy because I know I don't have to worry. My LG washing machine is quiet, and my clothes always come out super clean and fresh! I love the fact that there is so much room to washing my bedding and oversized comforters. I reccomenf this washing machine or an LG product, cause LG has been the best Brand for all my products.

And to top it off, I received a notification on my phone when the cycle is complete saving me time by allowing me to immediately dry the clothes instead of them sitting in the washer 30 minutes longer than the should.
