I was afraid the seeds would be washed away but two weeks later there was my new patch lawn all filled in and a lovely green ! It was easy to apply and I am happy it is safe to use around pets. Of course, they were not on it until the lawn was established. Thanks Scotts !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product for 4 seasons here in Montreal Quebec and I have not found a product that grows effortlessly shake it out over the bare spot or where you want to overseed a little and water, sprouts in about 8 days and grows really well in any soil. It is a little pricey if you want to reseed a lawn but nothing better for any other type or repair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this product on an area where the grass had been ripped out by some equipment and needed to be filled in. The product is easy to spread and the grass came up quickly. I can't tell where the spot was now.

After one week I could see it germinating. This encouraged me to stay on the watering plan. After three weeks and though naturally thin the blades are almost ready to be cut. I did use top soil on my large areas and spiked up the patches (as per the directions) on the small ones. Where I applied small patches I can't even tell where I patched since the lawn is now full. This product worked for me where another didn't. So though maybe a little pricey, for me this was a case where you get what you pay for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd year of using EZ seed. There wasn't much snow here this winter and with a dog on the premises there were many brown places this spring and EZ seed is a huge help in taking care of those. I highly recommend it!

We've been trying to get grass to grow in a shady section under a large tree in our backyard for years. Nothing seemed to work for long until we tried this product. It was easy to use, and worked very quickly, and we actually have a beautiful lawn now. No more mud!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sprinkled this seed on the dirt about 3 weeks ago. The grass came up and needed to be cut. Easy to use container sprinkles the seed pretty evenly. I used some straw to keep everything moist, and did not water.

Bought this a couple months ago, applied 3 weeks ago. Followed directions. Not a single blade of grass. Not one. Maybe those spots are terrible for some reason, or this sat on the shelf at Ace for too long, but this stuff certainly didn't accomplish anything.

I roughed up the spots and then just sprinkled the seed mixture followed by re-smoothing with my rake. It rained that day and the mixture doubled in size... rather interesting looking. By the end of the week ... 7-8 days later, the seed was germinating. All the spots in my yard filled in fabulously. Very happy customer.
