Used slightly late in the fall season but the seed still sprouted even worked in hard to grow areas. No mess easy to use this is the spot area seeding prouduct to use!

I used this product to fill in the spots along the road. Two weeks into application, and I have grass growing. Quick lawn repair. Ive just spot planted some more spots along the garage and will update as this area gets little sun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did the mistake of only using a light layer the first time around, but after thickening it, the product really works well, even in shadier areas. I watered daily regardless of whether it seemed wet still or not. The spout makes it super easy to pour as well.

I decided to try Scott's easy seed and it worked wonderful! Shake out as much as need and water...it was that simple. I will never use bagged seed again.

Had natural rainfall to keep seed wet and temp will top off today around mid 70 ! Planted two ways and both doing great ! Scratched lose the soil ,planted,then covered ever so lightly with seasoned three year old mulch. #2 Didn’t do any prep AT ALL ,planted seed on bare earth, added some mulch ( good stuff ) and Voila ,Green grass. There is no reason to have a bare spot or brown spot on your lawn with a product like this with such ease of use. I will keep using it as long as I need to patch my lawn,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product just in time for growing season. I followed the directions and applied it to a few areas close to the house. While watering and watching the spots I was surprised how fast to start seeing action. Can't wait to start mowing in that area.

This is the third time I am trying EZ Seed on a remote shady area in our generally thick lush lawn. The previous 2 times throughout this growing season, I have had limited success in this sparse area and moderate success in small bare spots or last winter's snow mold spots in the Spring. Generally I have more confidence in Scott's Patchmaster products that I have used for over 10 years, and have yet to gain confidence in EZ Seed. With the consistent rain we have had the last 4 days and more predicted I am hoping EZ seed performs this time. I raked in Scott's Soil for seeding, starter fertilizer and so looking for sprigs any day now.
