I have been very particular about my lawns. I had a few areas that were damaged by the public service company's equipment during an extensive gas line repair. Although I used Scott's grass seed and starter fertilizer, I was not having much success. So I gave the EZ seed a try last Fall. It was very easy to use, and very effecient. After following the simple instructions , I had a hugh success in less than three weeks!! It was so good , I used it again this Spring with the same fantastic results.

The Scotts worked very well while the competitor's failed to grow under the same circumstances. I will always use and recommend Scott"s grass seed for whole lawns and patching.

With it's deep root performance... little watering is needed and it's still looking great even in these drought like conditions in California. Wish I had done the whole yard. John H.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this product 5 or 6 times now and it works great. The only con I have for it is the price. It's a little expensive and I wished it covered more square feet. Overall an excellent product to fill bare spots or thin areas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used Scotts ezseed in a large shady area in my yard which had become rather barren. The results were outstanding. Raked the area a bit and sprinkled the grass seed. Watered the area thoroughly and continued daily watering for a couple more days. Grass seedlings began to surface within ten days and I now have green grass growing in this area. Very easy to apply with the shaker and no other effort or product required. Extremely pleased with my results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this in a problem area under a tree where it's been really hard to get grass to grow. The area is filling in nicely. The area is always shaded and has some roots so i wasn't sure if grass would grow. I would highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product every year as a I have 2 dogs and come spring I have quite a few brown patches. I clear out the dead spots add a little top soil and the grass grows right back. Very pleased with the results.

I had some dry, bald patches in my yard. Those spots get direct light which can be a little brutal in Colorado. I needed something to maintain a little moisture and this stuff did exactly that. The grass that has grown is a rich, deep green that looks and feels sturdy. Placed in yard June 3, 2023. By June 20th we had lots of promising tiny, new growth. Now, at July 15th, those patches are nearly filled with new grass crowding the area. Very happy with this purchase. (For reference: May 12th I had put out some Scott's Turf Builder in the yellow bag.)
