[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product works great to repair my lawn. The lawn is small. People walk their dogs, and the dogs go on my lawn. The grass dies where the dogs do their business. I rake the spots and use Scotts EZ Seed Sun and Shade. It has fertilizer that helps the seeds germinate. The container works great for spreading the seeds. I use this product to repair my lawn all summer long. The color of the new grass blends perfectly with the existing grass. I am very please with Scotts EZ Seed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would recomend this product to friends and family, I used it in an area where I had a swing hanging from a tree and since the kids would use it grass never seem to grow there. When I applied the eZ seed, grass grew right away and never seemed to die. two thumbs up to that.

The hardest part about this seed is remembering to water it enough, which isn't a problem if you put it down in the beginning of a 7 day rainy period like i did. You literally dump it onto the bare area, water it and that's it. I had grass growing with in a week.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had patches near the driveway that needed to be repaired because of foot traffic. Scratched the ground just with a little rake and little effort, then applied this product. Worked very well and grass that came up produced a full lawn in the patches.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this in mid-October, and had occasion to seed a few small areas on new soil that was seeded and growing except for a few spots I missed. We had an unusually nice Fall in the Midwest with temps in the 60s during the day and 40s overnight, so I planted the missed areas. I am pleased with the results as the grass is growing! This was on a hillside area with a lot of rain this Fall, so very pleased it remained where it was placed and did so well.

I bought this product to patch the bare spots in my lawn. I raked the spots prior to putting the seed down. I then covered the spots with burlap and watered it twice a day. To date after 10 days. Not a bit of growth. I can’t recommend this product and very disappointed. Looks like I need to search for another brand that will actually grow grass.
