When this bench is new, it is durable and beautiful. If it stayed this way, I would give this 5 stars. However, after about two years, the slats warp and crack. The frame is still in great shape, but I am going to try to find some wood to replace the cheap plastic slats that come with the bench.

We have this item for very many years. I don't even remember the year of purchase. Although it is somewhat degraded and the plastic is slightly warped after being in the outside elements for a long time it is still very functional. I recently called to request replacement bolts and the customer service team was very helpful and I did receive them.

I love that they can be benches for sitting and turn into a picnic table. Sturdy too. I move them all over the patio. You can’t go wrong getting these beautiful benches

I have 4 of these around our campfire pit and they work perfectly for seating for 8 very comfortable or more if squeezing in. Couldn't ask for anything that worked better than these, as they are great quality and look great. Everyone really likes them and they are very solid to sit in. you can sit on or pop up the table and have a sit down place to eat when needed. Very versatile as you can slide two together and make a full size picnic table.

I really love the concept of this product. It was an affordable and attractive picnic table. I love that the can turn into benches. But it drives me crazy that it stains so easy!! The second anything greasy touches it it stains instantly! (most bbq food is greasy) It should probably be stain resistant to food... It's a picnic table! I have tried cleaning it with soap, cleaner and a water pressure sprayer! Nothing did the trick! I feel like I am missing something!

It's completely understandable that, from time to time, a minor defect will slip through. I am so pleased with my new Lifetime Convertible Bench(s) that I couldn't overlook a crack/plastic shard. Within minutes, Lifetime's Customer Service had a replacement seat slat on order, and sent confirmation.

I chose this bench for the added feature of it flipping to form a table and bench. It was a little confusing to put together. You really need to follow the pictures exactly to make the hinge part work properly. We had to take it apart a couple of times to get it right. One of the pieces (long metal tubing) arrived damaged but when I called the company, they were very easy to have a replacement part sent to me at no cost. I like that the wood look will last through our very wet seasons.

We bought seven benches for our school and one slat was broken. We called the Wholesale warehouse we purchased it from and they wanted us to disassemble the bench and return the whole product. We did not want to do this when all we needed was a replacement slat. I called Lifetime company direct and Nick was very helpful and will send a replacement slat with no problem. Great Customer Service!

I bought the Convertible Bench YEARS AGO. Simple to set up, and converts to a table very easily. Looks great on a patio or deck. Two slats on the seat broke recently. Otherwise the bench is still good. I called the customer service at Lifetime. Spoke with Heidi. She was professional, courteous, asked a few questions to know the type of our bench so she can look for the correct part.(slat). She said she would order a complete seat so I can replace it with the broken one to honor the "Lifetime" warranty. I received the seat promptly as promised. Now, that's good customer service and honoring the warranty on a product by a company that stands by its promise - something that's becoming rare these days. Thank you Lifetime.
