I was surprised that these aren't smart appliances, but Samsung makes about everything else (pointlessly) connected - like a fridge. I'd rather get a reminder there's a load of laundry done and needs to be dried than to get a reminder the fridge door is open. The chances of me leaving the fridge door open are practically non-existent (I'm civilized - I close it immediately when I turn away from it). The chances of forgetting about the laundry in the hour or so it takes the machine to finish - while I make good use of my time and do other things so I have my mind elsewhere - are much, much greater. I have too many connected "smart" (that's a misnomer) appliances. The only one that should be, isn't. I guess I should have paid attention when I bought it, but figured Samsung makes everything else connected, so no way the one thing that should be wouldn't. Oops. The sounds are a bit over the top, with the buttons sounding like you're a child learning to play an instrument more than an adult doing chores. I find it amusing, but not very professional.

It came with the house, and was brand new. The washer did a wonderful job at washing clothes. It is quiet, and seems to be very efficient. The reason I gave it a three Star rating is because it is a front load washer. This is the second front load washer we have owned, and after the first, I said, I would never buy one. But it came with the house we bought. We have lived here for two years and it is time to replace the washer. The problem with front load washers is that no matter what you do, they always tend to smell like mold and mildew. We would leave the front door open on the washer. After each load, I cleaned the washer every time it started to smell or when the washing machine told me it needed cleaned. I ended up just cleaning it no matter what every two weeks. It still smells! I just don’t understand that at all.

Zero stars. 3 weeks out of warranty, this washer destroyed itself. The counterweight in the machine broke loose from the drum, then broke itself in half. Dented the front of the machine, punctured the drum and leaked all over the place. This seems like a failure that should never have happened. The installation was correct - level and secure. We did a self clean monthly. The calibration was checked regularly. What a disappointment and a total waste of $.

The washer is extremely quiet! I like the display, very easy to understand and nice bright blue display. I had a 20 year old washer prior, and my laundry now feels brand new! Nice & soft again! The capacity is huge! Fits king size bedding all in 1 load! The features/settings are a wide variety from quick wash to sanitize. Sanitize is great for the kids stuffed animals!! Blue LED lighting makes everything easy to see on this sleek washer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were super excited to receive our new appliance from Samsung! It really is a beautiful washer. This machine is incredibly quiet. We can't even hear it running anymore. With an opening of just under 53", the washer is very deep and can hold a large load. It fits our queen sized comforter with ease. Our old washer could barely fit the comforter and even ripped it once. We would have to take it to the laundry mat in order to clean and dry it. Not anymore! It has many cycles and options to choose from. This new washer cleans our clothes deeper and even faster. This allows us to do more loads in a much shorter amount of time. Great for when the piles of clothes start to stack up! Very easy to use and install. Just pick throw your clothes in, pick your setting and relax! The way the LED buttons light up, makes it incredibly easy to read. It also has pleasant chimes to let you know when your loads are done. This front loader also has the ability to be stacked. This is another great option if you would like to save some space. I told my family and friends about our new appliance and they already joked about coming over and using it! Samsung uses state of the art and innovating technology to reduce both water and electricity and keeps our family in mind when designing their appliances. Features like the child safety lock and the reminder to self clean after 40 loads helps keep our families clothes clean and our children safe. Thanks Samsung!

It has many helpful features, including quick wash and sanitize modes. It is rather large as well and can hold a good amount of clothes and or bed sheets. Does wonders for my mans dirty work clothes! The LED lights pair beautifully with the clean white look. We had an older unit that was loud and noisy. It literally shook the house! Not any more! This new washer from Samsung is very quiet. It truly makes my life much easier! Thanks Samsung for another great appliance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my new Samsung washer for three weeks and could not be happier with it. It replaced our Samsung washer that was 13 years old and finally gave out. This one is amazingly quiet and does a great job of getting dirty clothes clean. We were able to put it on the old pedestal base that went with her previous washer so that was a bonus. The clothes are spun so dry that they only need about half the time in the dryer as those washed in our old washer. If I could change anything, it would be the ability to remove the detergent cup. Sometimes water remains in that area and it’s hard to dry because you cannot remove the detergent cup as we could with our old washer. That means having to try to blot the water dry with paper towels. That may not bother some but we like to keep our washer as dry as possible to keep down any potential odor problems. Overall, I am extremely happy with the washer.

Bought this washer 3 years ago (in COVID time)...the first washer could not be installed because it failed the hookup test. The installer said he has never see this happen in all his 30 years of the business. The second washer failed after 3 years. The huge C shaped bolt broken in half and water everywhere...again the repair man from samsung said He had never seen this happen and that products were just being slapped together during the quarentine time. BYER BEWARE....still in contact with Samsung to see if they will make it right.

I bought this washer about 2 weeks ago and from the start it has been GREAT ! I love all the features, the quiet operating cycles and the large capacity to hold more clothes. The LED panel is very well designed and the sound made when a selection is made is quite nice. I like that I am in control of the washing instead of only having pre-set options. I have used the QUICK Wash on numerous occasions and it has saved me soo much time doing laundry. I like that I am saving water doing each wash cycle as the machine doesn't fill up and wash the clothes in a tub full of dirty water during washing. The washer is energy efficient and quite advanced. I like that I have an option to clean the washer using the SELF CLEAN feature which will keep it from mold, mildew and odors, this feature in itself is above the competition of other front load washers. Samsung really designed and produced a very well built, advanced complete washer in the 6000 Series. I am completely satisfied and enjoy doing the laundry which used to be a chore but no longer. GREAT JOB SAMSUNG !

We moved into a house that didn’t have them there which gave me the opportunity to finally get a front loading washer. It is so much easier getting clothes out without having to practically stand on your head! They also make the laundry area look great. Clothes come out very clean.
