The machine is very effective in cleaning every garment that is put in it, including a comforter.. any garment that you wash in the machine after the spin cycle comes out almost dry which means that there is less time in the dryer needed to dry the clothes. I am partial to front loaders because I feel they clean and don't tear your clothes up. The washer is very effective, even on a delicate cycle and very quiet. If using softener or beads, The effectiveness is not diminished in a Samsung washer but comes out smelling wonderful.

Also, I do not like the fact that the cycle resets to normal after each wash. My previous Samsung machine would stay on the last cycle used, which I prefer. If there is a way to make this adjustment, I was not able to find it in the manual.

The only thing I don't like is that the detergent dispenser on the inside of the washer is right in front of the door. If you forget to toss something in and open the door laundry detergent and softener spill out of the washer causing you to have to clean up a mess. Other than that it's great.

Typically washers can vibrate within the walls and floors, but it is fairly low sound and vibrations. We use liquid detergent and softeners, so we are satisfied with the quality of the wash as well.
