[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit March 3 2021, used the HE clothing detergent and the computer part the memory board stopped working in Dec. 2021. Very surprised when I was tolled they couldn't get parts for it.

Manual has limited explanation of the different programs. The temperature setting is from cold to hot, without any indication on actual temperature setting (i.e., degrees F or C).

I contacted Samsung and was told that issue was not covered by the warranty. When looking on the internet this appears to be a common problem and Samsung refused to address this signifiant quality issue. It begs the question regarding quality control in the manufacture of Samsung’s products.

We purchased the option to stack the units and use a single key set for both washer and dryer. This works very well and is not a issue for a family member who is not tall.

This is my 6th Samsung appliance and it will be my last. The “vibration reduction” technology advertised is a joke. The spin cycle is very loud. It shakes and vibrates to the point of making a dent on both sides of the pedestal. I bought the pedestal WITH the washer. Never again will I buy Samsung. If I could make the rating lower than a 1 for performance I would.

We bought a month ago and so happy we did. We had replaced our previous Samsung Dyer that was 14 yrs old with a new Samsung dryer. Our older Samsung washer was still working fine so we held off buying the matching new Samsung washer for 6 months. Now both match and we have the latest technology! My wife is very happy..!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung washer is the best washer I have ever owned. It is very modern looking and you can tell it is great quality. There are many different cycles you can use for customized washing. My favorite is the quick wash cycle because you can get your clothes washed in 22 minutes.As you can see in the pictures there are 10 different cycles to choose from. It runs smooth and i just cant believe how quiet it is. You can use it for small loads or large loads. I also love the digital interface.

I purchased this washer 3 months ago and it was delivered 2 1/2 months ago. I paid for installation but it was not tested and I got no instructions on how to use. Fortunately, (I thought) I knew how to use a washing machine. I downloaded the full user manual (only a 'simple' manual with 1 1/2 pages of operating instructions was left with the product). After 2 1/2 months and a few phone calls with Samsung support, these are my comments: 1) There is NO way to select 'cold' water temperature for the complete wash cycle (wash and rinse). My clothes are steaming when I open the washer door. Apparently the washer has an automatic temperature control (ATC) designed to maintain water temp for best results. Never mind what results the consumer wants. I will work out a work-around but wish I didn't have to permanently disconnect the hot water hose in the event I do want to wash clothes in hot water. I am also a bit surprised in today's 'climate change' environment that the energy to heat up water has not been considered and an override allowed on this! 2) The washer resets to the factory default at the end of each cycle. So if you generally set and use the same settings (for example, Perm Press, cold water, 2 rinses, 2 spins, light soil), it will reset to Normal, med warm, 2 rinses, 4 spins, med soil and you have to set it AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN every time you use the washer. You will wear out the dial and control panel buttons re-selecting your settings!! 3) This machine is very loud -- especially the spin cycle. It sounds like it is going to take off. It does vibrate but doesn't 'walk' so that is a plus. 4) A neat feature is the self-clean cycle. What no one tells you is that it is nearly 4 hours long, so don't think you're going to do this between loads on laundry day! It locks you out. And as the manual did say, it uses only all hot water for the 4-hour self-clean. 5) The face buttons on the control panel are far too sensitive. I turned it off accidentally while reaching for hangers above to hang up clothes - a light touch by my arm on the power button. Otherwise, the washer washes clothes just fine. It seems to be a quality machine. Just wanting to share so you know what you are purchasing. I was happy with the price, the purchase process, the communication and delivery, and customer service overall. All 5 stars on those items. Just not thrilled with the lack of temperature control.
