If you’re not used to a newer washer (my old one was from the 90’s), then you’ll enjoy all the new bells and whistles this one has - the chime it makes turning on and off, flashing lights and many options to wash different loads of items. All in all, I’m very pleased with my new washer and dryer!

here is the major issue - and it is a big one! once you start your washer and after 1 minute - you can't add any more items. the only way to unlock the door is to let the cycle finish. so what you add won't be washed - but will be rinsed, at least. i tried everything from unplugging for a couple of hours (5 minutes was supposed to do it) or pushing several buttons for 10 seconds as advice on google. i even had 2 service calls and still have the same problem. i haven't had another machine in the last 2 decades do that. otherwise, it is a satisfactory low end machine.

I would like it to open left to right. Still undecided on the vibration reduction. Seems to vibrate more than I expected. The machine does a great job getting the clothes clean and I love the choices for the type of wash and still be able to change some of the settings.

Love that the chime is also more musical than just a regular ding noise. Have several settings that you can use. The drum is also large enough for bedding. The brushed black is also very pretty.

The washer has all the features I was looking for and doesn't use a lot of water. The perfect washer for my household.

Every time I do laundry it sounds like there’s an earthquake. The machine is super loud and shakes the entire floor. Been through all the troubleshooting - levelling, offloading, re-calibration - and the problem has persisted. Extremely disappointed and never want to purchase another Samsung appliance again.

We purchased the option to stack the units and use a single key set for both washer and dryer. This works very well and is not a issue for a family member who is not tall.
