[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this Shark Rocket Pro. I love the color purple. It is very lightweight and has a swivel head that's lighted. This vacuum can maneuver under and around furniture. The suction is very powerful that it goes deep down into carpets. Works very nicely on hardwood and linoleum floors also. It picks up all the dirt leaving your floor very clean. The cup is very easy to detach and empty. This vacuum also comes with attachments for cracks and crevices and a brush to clean your couches chairs etc.It also folds down for easy storage. This corded vacuum is the best Shark makes the best products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 messy kids and 2 giant dogs that shed extremely bad, so finding a good vacuum is extremely important to keeping my home tidy. Shark is my go-to brand and I already have a vacuum I use from them. I was hoping to find a light weight vacuum that was easier to carry up and down the stairs, as well as travel back and forth to use at my cabin. This Shark Rocket stick vac meets many of the needs I was looking for. It is super light and easy to carry. The roller pivots and manuevers so smoothly easily around furniture, and it also works really well with getting under couches and tables. Another positive is that the noise level on this vacuum is much quieter. I also really like that the controls are right on the handle and the words regarding the power levels are reversed to face the person cleaning. As far as storage goes, this vacuum will not stand upright for storage, and either needs propped up on something or the handle will need removed and placed on the storage hook on the base. This is not a negative for me, because it makes it easier for me to store in a cabinet or closet. A con for me is that it is definitely not as powerful as my current vacuum and the canister is much smaller. I did a quick clean up around my living room only and the canister was already full and needed emptied before I could continue. The power and suction worked the best for me on area rugs and runners but was still quite effective on low pile carpeting. I already recommended this vacuum to my mother, who is getting up there in age, due to how light weight it is and easy to maneuver around. It's definitely worth giving a try and I would recommend it.

I received this purchase in December. Does it work better than my last vacuum? Yes! The biggest pro is the suction! Other pros are it is gentle enough to use on hardwood without the fear of scratching, visual appealing design, the numerous attachments the unit came with, and the while unit is easy to clean. However, I do believe it is flawed. My biggest disappointment is this vacuum, fully assembled, cannot stand upright on it's own- it has to lean on something. While this may work for most people, it is just plain annoying to me. I also dislike how top-heavy the unit is, the cannister is small, and the roller gets clogged with hair too easily (I've never had to clean a roller in any vacuum this much!). I have 3 large short haired dogs and I vacuum often. Unfortunately this vacuum does not meet my needs. I should have returned.

A bit top heavy and you need to disconnect the top to have it stand in place but other than that it has become an essential item in my daily cleaning. I use it daily and it really does pick up dog hair. I have a husky and this sucks up the hair like no other!

Whenever I consider a new home appliance, I give Shark a look. I've had a number of Shark appliances and tools over the year, and this new Shark® Rocket® Pro DLX Corded Stick Vacuum is another great choice. I love that Shark always makes unboxing and set up such a breeze. I unpacked the tool and had it running in less than 5 minutes. Set up was so easy and the instructions are clear. The cleaning power of this stick vacuum is really good and it has a setting for bare floors and carpeted areas. You can feel the extra power when you switch between the settings. The only thing I wish this unit had was the Shark Fins instead of the standard brush style roller. The fins do a great job eliminating hair clogs. Overall, this is a great lightweight and highly maneuverable unit. It makes clean up really easy and I'd highly recommend it. Shark is a great brand.

Finally got a shark vacuum and I'm so disappointed. If you have pets don't even bother. It gets clogged every single time I use it in multiple spots. It takes forever for me to vacuum because I have to keep stopping to unclog it. Don't waste your money.

I love all of shark products. I had new floors put in. I didn't need a big vacuum. They are hard/ tiled floors withe just a flat rug. I work at a dept store and got a good deal on it. I loved it till it quit sucking up. Nothing was clogged. In less than 6months I have exchanged it 3 times. This last one I just returned it and got my money back. I love all the shark vacuums, but this model is totally a lemon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So after a couple of hand-me-down vacuums, I bought myself my first vacuum last year. It was also a shark stick vacuum, but a lower tier one. And I was pretty happy with it until I got this one. This is an incredible upgrade! It’s way quieter, more agile, and has a stronger suction. It’s ever so slightly more narrow so it fits in harder to reach areas in my apartment which is huge. The extensions are also smaller, which is perfect for targeting those crevices in the car, window sills, etc. I do have to empty out the canister often because, despite it being fairly large for a stick vacuum, it picks up a lot of tiny particles that my old vacuum wouldn’t. I also like how bright the lights are to ensure you don’t miss anything. They also included a light on the handheld portion so when you are just using that part you can still see anything that needs to be picked up. I also love the deodorizer. It seems to work as I don’t get that weird dust scent when vacuuming. But over time, who knows? You do have to replace the deodorizer every 6 months. Not sure how much the replacement is. All in all, though I got it free, I’m super impressed with this vacuum and see myself keeping it for quite some time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark Rocket Pro DLX Corded Stick Vacuum. Is easy to assemble and easy to use. It is light and glides across the hardwood floors effortlessly. The slick design allows you to get right up to the baseboards and makes it easy to get in hard-to-reach places as well as manipulate around and under furniture.

By far the worst vacuum I have ever used. You might as well live alone, have no pets and be the cleanest person on this earth for this vacuum to be effective at its job. I have to clean the filters after every use or it won’t suck properly and when it does suck anything up, it spits it all out as soon as I turn it off. The wand gets clogged constantly hand I have to shove a long stick up it to clean it out. This is a horrible vaccum. Will never but shark brand again. This is my second vacuum from this brand that I have absolutely hated.
