Bought this back in April and thought I’d grow to love it but honestly it’s bulky, heavy and hard to handle. I always wonder how much user testing they actually did as the design needs improvement. The suction is just ok and doesn’t do well with pet hair.

It's super easy to empty and clean. I have animals and it vacuums up after them easily. I highly recommend this Shark vacuum!

We have had two Rocket vacs since our last move 9 yrs ago. Reading the comments from the new vacs points out they don't hang on the wall like our current vac...taking up floor space to store isn't a plus. The vacs have been great for us...the only other problem is the flex hose from the head to the tank...they both have split apart and I've had to put duct tape over the split to keep them working...so far so good. We want to get a new vac but I'm glad I read the reviews to see some of the pros and cons. My review from here down will be about our old units that both worked great for us over the years. So, I'm a current owner of a Rocket vac...just not the newest model. Sounds like suction problems may be something to read more about.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My review for the Shark US - Shark® Rocket® Pro DLX Corded Stick Vacuum is as follows: The first thing that I noticed is how light weight the vacuum is. I have a bad knee so I can’t be pushing or pulling heavy things. The vacuum makes cleaning fun again. The pros are definitely the ease of use and I didn’t really see any cons with this model because I really liked it.

I received this purchase in December. Does it work better than my last vacuum? Yes! The biggest pro is the suction! Other pros are it is gentle enough to use on hardwood without the fear of scratching, visual appealing design, the numerous attachments the unit came with, and the while unit is easy to clean. However, I do believe it is flawed. My biggest disappointment is this vacuum, fully assembled, cannot stand upright on it's own- it has to lean on something. While this may work for most people, it is just plain annoying to me. I also dislike how top-heavy the unit is, the cannister is small, and the roller gets clogged with hair too easily (I've never had to clean a roller in any vacuum this much!). I have 3 large short haired dogs and I vacuum often. Unfortunately this vacuum does not meet my needs. I should have returned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t know how I got along without this! It’s light weight allows for easy maneuvers and the swivel head makes getting in tight spaces a breeze! It has really strong suction which helps with pet hair and spider webs in those hard to reach spaces. It has extra attachments for upholstery and tiny spaces so it works great for the car as well. It’s easy to empty the holding canister too. All of the pieces snap together so easy. The cord is long enough to do more rooms before having to stop to unplug and move. I don’t know what took me so long to get one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are in love with this vacuum. We wanted to use it for quick clean ups rather than deep cleaning and this is perfect for that task. I like that it has a cord, although it could be a bit longer! It is easy to assemble, empty out and use! It can go in bare floors or carpet which is nice and comes with 3 attachments other than the main vacuum.

Extremely lightweight and moves easily across/floor/carpet I also like the fact that the floor nozzle piece is not overly wide so I can slip under or in between furniture pieces without bumping into everything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am obsessed with this vacuum. Let me start off my saying I have 2 dogs and one cat. My one dog is short hair while the other is a St. Bernard mix. My cat is short hair. I have went through tons of vacuums in the past year but this one is going strong. I love the suction power, the lightness of it and how easy it is to empty the dirt. The one thing I thought lacked was the odor control cartridge. I thought I put it on wrong, I checked the instructions making sure I did it right, AND I DID, but you could not smell it at all. This is definitely a product I will recommend over and over again.

I dont normally write reviews but thought i would on this one if itll help someone looking for one. I have a few off brand stick brooms but this one was on sell at a good price so i bought it, plus i was curious how it compared to my cheaper ones. I was impressed how well it cleans but its top heavy so doesnt stand up, i hate that. I felt like its bulky & heavy. I wish the front of the base was thinner so it could fit better getting under bottom cabinets. Itd be really nice if it had a retractable cord reel. I do notice i have to empty it alot sooner then my cheaper one. Over all, ill keep it bc i really dont feel like boxing it back up to return but i tend to go for my $30 stick when i vacuum.
