Good vacuum. Would be great if it stood on its own. You will have to lay it down every time you want to move something or take a break for any reason. Also makes storage difficult as it will not stand-up on its own in the closet.

It is worth taking out a warranty

It is worth taking out a warranty. After several months of use, when I use it, it makes a sound as if it is on the verge of burning out. You have to wash the filter almost after every use because it clogs up very quickly. And even with a clean filter, this sound appears.

Love this Shark!

My favorite vacuum! I've bought several of these for my home and my office and have given several as gifts. I do however wait until they are on sale! They were regularly priced at $129.00 I think when I bought my first one several years ago on sale for $99.99. So I don't want to pay more than $99.00 now either! I do not care for the cordless version, as it does not last long enough to do my entire house on the charge.

It sucks

In 9 months, it began to smoke and smell like burned rubber. Thank goodness that Sam's accepted a return with full refund. Unfortunately, I had to make a box and drive 15 miles, each way, to a FedEx store to mail it. Do yourself a favor, spend more and get a unit that lasts.
