We used to shudder when a storm was coming because we "knew" we would lose our electric. It was not if we would lose our electric, but would worry about how long it would be out? Could be hours to days. We can now relax since we know that within seconds our entire house will have electric with the Generac whole house generator.

Thoroughly pleased with my standby generator. My mind is always at ease knowing that losing power in my house will be prevented by my Generac standby generator. We lost power about a month ago for an hour and within a few seconds my generator started and I had full electrical power throughout my house. What a great feeling!

So far, so good. We have had a couple of short term outages and everything worked as expected. Hopefully we will never have to use it for an extended time but it is comforting to know it is there. We are a retired farm couple who decided to stay in our older home in the country rather than move to town. A little pricy, but definitely worth the piece of mind it provides.

The standby generator from Generac is a great buy! Only days after installation it was called upon to power my whole house during a Hurricane. As my wife is handicapped, it was imperative to keep our power on. I would have no other product but the Generac generator.

We had our unit installed several weeks ago and had a local failure of someone hitting a trnasmission pole. The unit went on immediately and ran continuously until service was restored. I was very impressed in that not even our automatic light timers were affected.

We had just had it installed several days before a hurricane. It was wonderful to have the secure feeling of having power to our home!! It worked great for the 3 days that we did not have power. It has also come on again about a month ago. We didn't even know our power had gone off due to a cut line in our neighborhood. It is a blessing to us!!

We are very pleased with this Generac generator. The unit was hooked up Oct 2016. It has come on twice already; once for 8 hrs and once for 4 hrs. It performed exactly as advertised. We like the maintenance cycle that is programmed to run every 2 weeks. There is some low level noise, but it is not a problem for us or our neighbors. We moved to NC into an area where there are not that many power outages, but having lived through hurricane Sandy and no power for 6 days, we wanted peace of mind for when and if there are some. About 3 months after moving into our new home with generator, there was construction work being done that caused us to lose power. We were it would be back in a couple of hours, 6 hours later, our Generac was humming along nicely. I have read where some owners have had problems during outages. I asked the local dealer about this and they indicated that many don't do the required initial oil change. We are going on close to a year and the generator does its test run without issue.

It has been very reliable and we are very happy with our investment and equally happy with Genesis Electric install and assistance! If you've ever been without power for a prolonged period, you know how important it is to have a backup system, and especially important as you age for safety reasons.

I was very impressed in the entire process. The initial survey to determine my needs, installation, and customer service have been top notch. Earlier this week we had a storm and lost power for 1/2 hour. The system worked flawlessly!!! You can not go wrong with Generac. Their certified installers are very well trained.
