we purchased the 24KW system for our home. we have well system,AC, along with multiple applying needs in country setting. BRE Electric sold and installed our unit at the best possible price, and they were very prompt in installing our unit once all inspections were performed. BRE Electric was a great contractor to work with and highly recommend them as an installer for your generator needs.

Installed the 22kw whole house transfer switch generator at the completion of the construction of our new home. First time having a system like this to keep the power on. It sure adds happiness to our family living in Florida where high humidity and high temperatures during Hurricanes when the power is out will keep us comfortable.

My wife and I consider this a luxury , we waited 47 years to get this ,as there were always other priorities. Here in our little town of Saline , we loose power all too often. Amazing less than 24 hours after completing the hook up the power went out. Oh, but not here , wow I almost slept through it . Than we were so excited it was hard to get back to sleep..... The GENERAC 24kw backup generator provides home coverage in the case of an outage. Boyland Electric of Laytonsville, MD staff provided excellent service during decision and installation process. The installation, by Boyland Electric, exceeded our expectations as they arrived on time each day and kept the working area clean of debris throughout the installation. The 22KW provided the "extra" power headroom I was looking for. With both a 5Ton A/C and a large media room, the extra output was welcome. The bonus with this unit is that, while costing only a few dollars more, it uses less NG or LP fuel then either the Generac 16 or 20KW units. Living in the Midwest, the Cold Start package was a welcome addition. Overall, a win-win solution.

Our local dealer, Long’s Air Conditioning of Avon Park, Florida, is well known for superior service, excellence in customer service and expert installation. After 10 days without power following Hurricane Irma, we made the decision to finance a Generac installation and got on their install list. We were willing to wait for the quality of their work and the superior product offered by Generac. The owner, Kenny Long, and his team arrived just after 7:00 a.m. and by noon our system was installed and every piece of sod replaced, every bit of dirt cleaned off and we were up and running. The peace of mind is well worth the expense as the head of our household is a First Responder with Emergency Mgmt. and will be on duty during major storms. We will be ready next Hurricane season!!

My generator is not even a year old and is broken. The part that generates the electricity burnt up and needed replaced. Now the housing unit doesn’t close right. The people who installed it aren’t sure what to do. I am furious, I think they should replace the thing. I would never recommend these to anyone.

Our 22KW ran for 7 days straight after hurricane Irma. It used a little oil and we had a big NG bill but my family had power. The power company did such a poor job in west Florida with their vegetation management. Many overgrown trees took down all the power lines. The generac kept things as close to normal and comfortable during and after the storm. Thanks!
