The Unit Has All Works Just Like Promised. Every Week Is Goes Into It's Test Phase. Runs About Ten Minutes. Then Cuts Off. Shows On The Controls If Any Thing Is Not Going Right. I Strongly Suggest If You Live In A Storm Pron Area That You Get One Of These. I Have The Generac 22KW. I Can run My Whole 23,000 Sq Foot. House Pulse Part Of The House Next To Me. If You Have Propane Or Natural Gas This Is The Way To Go. (Gas Stations Run Out Of Gas Fast And Are Vary Hard To Get Gas To Them. when you get A Heavy Storm.)

I had a Generac portable generator and when I first needed it, I could not get near it due to my pacemaker. With the standby generator, I only have to listen for it to start, which it does once a week, even below zero temperatures. I am on oxygen 24/7 and it is reassuring to know, I will not be without electrical power.

We have had 3 long outages so far since our purchase. The peace of mind knowing we had electricity and our freezers and refrigerators would keep running were worth the amount of money we had to pay for our generator. The electrician who installed it was so knowledgeable and did such a good job and since he is also a good neighbor we don't worry at all about the service we will get.

Professional interaction with installer, Spectrum electric. They know the Generac product and how to install it inside and out. Only one instance of power outage since installation. Generator performed perfectly for approx 1.5 hours during outage and kept house comfortable including heating units operation. My only complaint is that the unit is noisier than expected and location between houses amplifies the noise during operation.

We love our general. It was one of the best investment we made for 2016. We should done the same in New York when we lived there. We recommend every one who lives along the Gulf Coast of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia to get one for their home.

Due to the long time it took to get gas service installed, my generator has only been in service for about a month. So far it has done its thing by starting and running once a week for self diagnostics. I have had one outage on my outside electrical service caused by a small animal, and the unit started in a few seconds and carried the house until external service was restored. Transfer back was very quick, so quick that I did not even notice the transfer and did not need to reset the clock on my microwave.

Adding this back up generator system to our retirement home gives of great piece of mind whether we are home or out of town. This permanently installed Generator replaced a portable gasoline powered one that required moving outside and connecting through a manual transfer switch. The portable worked fine for many years when we were younger, but now it is difficult for my wife to use it. The numbers of power outages here in Rural Pennsylvania are increasing each year so we installed the new 22kw Generac running on Natural Gas. Also, the new Generac has an automatic Transfer Switch which is really fantastic. I have recommended Generac to all my friends in my area. Had some Issues with a bad hunting problem with the motor after the unit was installed , it took several return visits from the installer to get it to run smooth , it has been two months now and it seems to be running OK on its weekly run , other than that I like it
