This is the third Generac I have owned and have been satisfied with all three. The area of Hawaii I live in is plagued with power outages from a few minutes to multiple hours. The generator starts automatically and is relatively quiet. I like the self maintenance/startup feature that I have set for once a month (default is once a week). Seems to provide economical use of propane.

It was shipped very fast, however did not show up on lift gate truck like was told it would had to have naibor bring tractor to unload, was an easy hook up and easy to set up with the Didgetal display, I am gone a lot and like knowing my wife can not worry about electricity going out. Thank you for quick delivery.

I live in an area where our power goes out at least once a month. To know that we do not have to worry about that anymore is awesome. The installer we had that was qualified to install by Generac was very knowledgeable and informative. He let us know what he was doing throughout the entire insolation process. After the install he went over everything very thurally and insured us that if we need anything to call him! Great job Generac!

We had the 22kW Generac installed the Autumn of 2016. Our 1st power outage of the season occurred a couple of weeks ago. The outage started at 10:30pm, just as everyone was prepping for bedtime. 10 seconds after the outage begun we had FULL power. No problems, the generator shut down automatically after residential power was restored, and our electric service was automatically cut over to AC. WOW !! No more lugging out the portable generator!. We also installed the battery heater and oil filter heater - cold climates.

Our most recent purchase was a replacement unit for fhe original used unit we had for 10 years. We did not even hesitate when it came for the replacement. Our first unit was about 5 years old when we got it and it lasted another 10 years and was an absolute blessing when we needed it. So happy we installed a whole home generator shortly after we moved in!

Well made except for flimsy plastic door and frame covering circuit breakers. The electrician broke mine and a different electrician broke my son's identical model. It would be nice if the factory offered a model for cold states with the battery heater, oil heater, and synthetic oil installed. Overall nice appearance and very easy to setup. I would defintely recommend this unit to anyone looking for a generator.

The generator has worked flawlessly, but had to call Mobile Link to get that feature enrolled. FYI, the serial number the enrollment form is looking for is that of the generator and the MDN# it wants is the 10 digit number (w/o dashes) on the Mobile Link unit itself. Except for that minor hiccup, we love the generator.

Only a couple months after installing the unit, a winter storm caused a 3 day power outage. Our house was the only one with power for the well pump, hot water and heat for the entire time. The unit has responded on one outage and worked just as it should. The power automatically came back on generator power and everything worked in the house. It only took a few seconds for it to come on and it cycled right off when power was restored from the grid.

We used to shudder when a storm was coming because we "knew" we would lose our electric. It was not if we would lose our electric, but would worry about how long it would be out? Could be hours to days. We can now relax since we know that within seconds our entire house will have electric with the Generac whole house generator.
