I have never used LG for my sound before but I am glad that I did. I do wish that it had built in Alexa but it sticks to sound which is great!

We love to watch movies at our home and this feels like you are in the theater. It was very easy to set up (and I am not real tech savvy!) But my kids and I were able to set it up in about 10 minutes. It is ascetically pleasing so I don't mind having it on our tv stand. It looks sleek. If you're on the fence about purchasing this sound bar, I highly recommend it! Our whole family gives it 5 stars! *I am giving my honest review in exchange for a discounted price on this product.

The sound bar and subwoofer paired seamlessly to my new tv, basically plug & play. I’ve also added the LG SPK8-S wireless rear speakers to create a true surround sound system. I could not be more pleased! Highly recommend!!!

I was recently gifted the LG SPD7Y Soundbar and my family couldn't be happier! We love watching movies at home and this feels like you are in the theater. I brought the SPD7Y to replace an older Bosed 3-2-1 which subwoofer no longer worked. Efforts to fix was to no avail. The SPD7Y was very affordable and the sounds it produced are outstanding considering the price. I checked out the other LG sound bar and this was the sweet spot for purchasing.

This LG soundbar was easy to connect to my tv and setup. Has good sound quality but the bass is lacking. For the price point it is a good buy for a basic soundbar with dolby atmos ability.

I think it helps improve the listening experience. This isn’t a high end system but I wasn’t really wanting a theater experience. I really wanted to hear the broadcast better and it does that effectively.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this about a month ago and the sound bar worked really well. However the documentation was really lacking. You only get a very basic manual with the system. There was no online manual available for this product either. There is an app that you can download which I had to find out on my own about, as there was no reference to it anywhere. I got the rear speakers as well but they didn't work well, which is why I wanted the manual. I ended up calling customer service to get help with it and they were not at all of any value in helping me. They were just reading out of the same useless manual. In the end I just returned the rear speakers and gave up. The sound bar itself works and sounds good but I wish I had surround sound.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ended up returning this one after speaking with an LG representative. Sound bar was making some popping noises. Definitely noticeable during dialogue. I ended up purchasing the LG S80. Totally rocks! Much better than the SPD7Y. And it was more expensive but I am happy with the purchase! I love that I can Bluetooth my phone to the sound bar to hear music without having to turn on the TV! Good bass sounds too!
