We bought the Westinghouse power generator WGen5300c a few weeks ago to replace our old generator that had failed. I am very happy, because it is so much easier to operate, move and connect, having various option to do so. Now we are better prepared for power outages.

What great product. When I received his product, it was raining and the electric went off. I had it up and running in 15 minutes. I ran it for six hours and not a problem. It was so easy getting running for the first time. This Generator is a very quiet starts in one full and was well packaged. In that six hours, it ran more than I expected I was very happy with that.

We purchased this to replace a Generac 10,000 Watt unit that was just too big and heavy. This Westinghouse generator is compact, easy to maneuver, and has more than enough power. It was easy to assemble and started up on the first push of the starter button after we added oil and gas. Very happy with our purchase!

After 5 power outages this summer and our old generator quitting we decided to try Westinghouse. After opening the box we knew we made a great decision. We love the features and how easy it is to start, and it's much quieter than our last generator.

Very nice and simple. Fill with oil ( included) and gas, quick connect battery, Slide wheels on and tighten 4 nuts and ready to go. Manual pull 5 times for first start up. Wow, electric start and remote smooth no problem.EASY! This is going to change my world. I'm still waiting for an electrician to wire plug to house panel, but powered fridge, space heater a light and charged phone with extension cord

After Hurricane Beryl and spending 8 days without power, a rv ready generator was the best purchase we could make. We didn't replace our old generator which we use in the house for our appliances but added the Westinghouse so we can have air conditioning in our travel trailer during our next power outage. The WGen5300sc is Perfect!

ONE SUGGESTION; MOVE THE CROSS MEMBER 1" TOWARD THE END OR MORE SO OIL DOES NOT RUN DIRECTLY ONTO THE FRAME WHEN OIL IS CHANGED. IT IS INTENDED TO BE USED FOR POWER OUTAGES TO RUN LIGHTS, HEAT, AND WATER PUMP. MAY BE USED OCCASIONALLY FOR CAMPING. ATTRACTIVE GENERATOR CONTROL PANEL IS NICELY LAID OUT. HANDLE FOR MOVING IT AROUND IS A LITTLE OVER KNEE HIGH. GOOD LITTLE LIGHT WEIGHT MACHINE. I'LL RECOMMEND IT TO PEOPLE.

Living through hurricanes without a generator can be difficult and stressful, if you live in areas where they can knock power out for weeks at a time, you need a generator. I picked this generator because of the name and price point, a Black Friday purchase. I can power the necessities in my house with this generator, we are now prepared for the weather come what may. It was easy to set up, too.

I purchased this unit after the last hurricane, we lost power for over 4 days. We had to replace most of the food in the freezer. This unit will be the perfect size for our home to run the necessary things in our house if we should need it again. It also tucks away nicely in my garage corner.

With our power constantly going out and a total electric trailer, I knew I had to have backup power for heat this winter. This generator was within my price range and will provide the security I need during power outages. It was easy to set up and started right up. It's light enough to move around. Haven't actually needed it yet but I'm so glad I have it
