Having just experienced a 3 day power outage in the Cleveland Oh area in August of 2024. I was fortunate to borrow a generator with less capacity than this model. Purchased this Westinghouse generator, has more power, runs quieter, has electric and was up and running in 20 minutes. I have peace of mind knowing this is "at the ready" for me

Purchased right after hurricane Ian. Easy to setup and operate. Powers all the essential needs for the house. Convenient 240v twist lock outlet to hook up to breaker panel. Runs fairly quiet and economical. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing an emergency generator.

I bought this generator a month ago and I am so happy that I did as these units seem to be sold out and there is a reason behind it in my view. The unit is well built and controls are well laid out. Set up was a breeze with the very well laid out instructions and user manual. I was pleasantly surprised to find the wheel kit included with the unit. Added the supplied oil after the wheel kit was installed, put gas in it and in less than 30 minutes one pull and the little beast came to life and I let it run for an hour braking period as instructed in the manual. I thought the unit is reasonably quiet especially when it was drowned out by my neighbors pressure washer, so I say it is on the quiet side and just to mention it is a good looking unit. The handle raises up and with one hand you can lift this generator and walk away with it with no effort at all. The power output was on point and as rated. With hurricane season starting here in Florida I feel ready to have my essentials powered in case of a power outage. This unit is very compact and easy to store in the garage. Over all a good investment and a well built unit. Looking forward to getting the cover for it.

I bought this 3 weeks ago, took 3 weeks to deliver, came well packed, easy to assemble. tested OK but have not run for a long period of time yet. I will run it through a test soon to make sure it works well. Could be quieter. So far so good Love the battery start.

Purchased this generator to replace an older unit. Was extremely easy and quick to unpack and set up, had it up and running in less than 30 minutes. Instructions are easy to understand and the battery start makes it easy to start for a senior citizen. A great addition to our hurricane kit.

Bought week ago. Nice and compact. More so than my old craftsman 5600/8600 and has "no flat" tires. Comparable in power at a cheaper price. Always need one during hurricane season. Nice to have portable a/c at night. Well pump running. Fridge and microwave. Beats eating cold soup and bread for 5-7 days when power is out.

At its price point, I couldn't find anything that came close to the quality and features of this portable generator. Truth be told, there is a certain amount of confidence you get when you see the Westinghouse Logo on your generator, they do do know a thing or two about electric...

I bought this generator to replace a 30 year old one. It is very compact and loaded with features. It comes with a wheel kit that makes it easy to put it where you want it. The controls are laid out well on the main panel with ease of operation. I would highly recommend the WGen5300sc model .

Out of the box: Easy wheel installation. Oil provided with unique funnel. Filled with gasoline; Started on 1st pull....... Making electricity within a few seconds. Not as noisy as other generators this size. Makes 120vac and 240vac. For my purposes: I needed both voltages. My R.V. has a unique water heater that requires 240vac.... Nice looking and well engineered generator.

I bought this 6/17/2024. Was delivered yesterday and the serviceman dropped it when he put it down. Hope there's nothing wrong with it. I started it and it started right up. I love the push start and I love it. I'm a 77 year old woman and this will be so easy for me to start! If we have a hurricane, now I'm ready. Thank you for making a pus start!!☺️
