After research and experiencing the reliability of having a small, portable power generator from Westinghouse, we decided to get a larger unit in case power goes out for an extended period of time. We really like the information display and the safety features of this generator.

I bought one 1/23 quick working went through a horrible time trying to get fixed. They keep from 7/10/23 till I continued to call until around 11/14/23. They finally decided to give me new one. The shop Westinghouse told me to take to said their generators are a piece of crap.

Gotta love Oklahomas bibolar weather, ice storm one day, sunshine and Spring like weather the next. Recieved my severence pay just in time to buy this bad boy. It will practically power all essentials, light my entire house, TV & i got to vacuum! MUCH NEEDED AFTER A WEEK WITHOUT!

Delivery great! Initially the unit wouldn't start. After troubleshooting, I found I had to drain the carburetor of some crap, maybe storage fluid, although I put in premium new gas. I called customer service, after being on hold for more than 20 minutes I gave up, resolved the issue on my own. I am glad I am mechanically competent. It could have been a nightmare!

Bought this on Thursday, received on a Sunday. I opened the box, but was surprised that there was no manual of any sort, just an arrangement of parts, oil, and the necessary tools to assemble the wheels and feet. Anyone without intuitive assembly sense would have an issue figuring out how to properly assemble the unit, though I believe it would still function without the feet/wheels. Had to look up manual to see what the oil and fuel requirements are, as well as warranty information.

This worked fine for the first 6 weeks after I bought it. It then shorted out. KA-PLOOEY! I had only used 1 1/3 tank of gas. (It was economical in that respect) Do to my frequent need for a generator I had to immediately purchase a new one of a different brand. I am on Social Security - I need something reliable.

I bought this one month ago, happy that I did. However, when I started it, which it did immediately, none of the power outlets provide me with power. I called Westinghouse and they helped me right away. I give this generator five stars even after not getting any power because issues do come up and I was helped immediately.

Works well for my needs. Only glitch like others have said had a damaged alternator cover, had to pry off to take off floating wire. Also had damage to cage around the motor. Also have to run with one notch on choke all the time. Other than that so far so go.

I just purchased this generator so I can't say how it works but it has some great features. I have a boat with a twist lock outlet. I will be able to use it there as well as at home. I really like the electric start switch and the run hours and maintenance schedule display.

Having had 2 generators cease to work one I needed something to replace them. After a little research this one came up on top. Smaller than what I wanted but still more than i needed. Its not failed me yet and has been already tested beyond what I would call typical use. Straight out of the box had it running for 8 hours with a moderate load. Started first time. Cant ask for more Its early days but I have good feelings about this little trooper.
