We lose power often in my neighborhood due to storms. I researched and landed on this generator. Will be able to run many appliances to allow us to not lose all that is in our fridge and freezer, have A/C, etc. Set up was simple. It is extremely sturdy. Purchased the running cover as well. This purchase is bringing my family and I much peace of mind.

Alternator end cap came bent just like it has with many other people. Generator did not start right away. I had to start the generator with the choke off so not 100% sure it is working correctly. But powered up my fridge and freezer after break in period.

gen arrived in one piece no damage,put the wheels and vibration pads on (took 2 minutes) filled with req oil amount ,started on the second pull ,plugged a 120 volt heater into and it works as advertised,,a little noisy but at this price point they all are ,,,hopefully it will give years of reliable service,,, happy camper

Bought this generator to help out in case we lose power again in the winter. So far it seems to run well. Haven't hooked it up to the house or ran necessary items yet, so I can't give a full 5 stars yet. But so far I have no reason to think it will give me any trouble!

Took 10 days to have delivered. We had bad storm that left us without SWEPO for 4 days. We borrowed a generator for lights & refrigerator. No A/C. It was hot, close to 100 deg. Unboxed generator. Assembled, hooked up to propane. Started up perfectly. This one will run a small window A/C plus other necessities.

I purchased the first one and it came with the generator cover smashed like i saw on other reviews. it was strange because the box was not really damaged. I took a chance and ordered another one. The new one came today and it was not damaged. This one did have oil in the box and on the frame of the generator though so i thought maybe the oil they sent had leaked but it did not, must have just been where they drained it from the factory. I put the legs and wheels on (very simple) and oil and gas, started on about the 3rd pull. Seems to run fine, i have high hopes that it will do good. I have not really tried to run anything on it except for a shop vac just to make sure it works. Will test it out a little this weekend though.I like the appearance and the weight. Cant beat the price on this either, hopefully this will be a good purchase.

The generator started OK the first day. It started up again when I refueled. But after the first day (2 hours running time) I haven't been able to start it. I would have waited until I got a new spark plug (or whatever else needs to be fixed) before writing a review, but they wanted a review as part of registering the warranty.

We were at 1st concerned when the generator arrived in a box seeing we are in our 70's but once opened and directions read/followed we were abled to assemble the legs and wheels with no problem. After adding the oil, some gas and connecting the battery the generator started right up. We were shocked to say the least that two seniors with no mechanical skills got it to work.

I bought this 6 weeks ago to help with the regular power outages that occur where I live. I have had the opportunity lately to use it. I took it out of the box prepped it and it started up on the first pull! ...Wow! I never have had a gas engine power tool do that do that! ....Awesome!

We started it up to make sure everything was ok and it worked fine. I would have liked to have electric start and would have paid more for that feature as not sure I am going to be able to start it if my husband is not here. We like that it can also be used for an RV if we ever get one. Didn't give it a 5 star rating because haven't needed to use it to assess better how it functions, but so far so good.
