Had it as an emergency backup. Worked great off and on. But I let it sit for two weeks and now the electric start has completely failed and it won't run for over 30 seconds

I was looking for a generator that was easy to use and get around, and after searching for quite a while. I finally found the one with all the features I was looking for. And it works Great! Thank You, "Westinghouse"!!!!

I purchased the 5300sc after power outages this winter. It has great features including the 220V I need to power most of the appliances in my house, The electric starter makes using it very easy.

I just purchased this so haven't tried yet, but my only complaint so far is the location of the oil and the plastic dipstick was damaged. Will call for replacement.

I am extremely happy with my purchase. I needed a generator to power my RV while camping and this one worked perfectly. I am able to run the AC and multiple appliances simultaneously without issue. Great product!

Setup was easy and it was nice having wheels to attach without having to purchase them separately. Glad I was able to get this at a good price before hurricane season—excellent value.

I bought this 3 weeks ago after losing power for the 4th or 5th time in 5 years. Followed easy instructions. Put the feet and wheels on. Put the oil and gas in. Fired right up! Electric start is awesome! Finally ready for the next storm!

I purchased this after we lost power for an extended period of time (again) so I will be ready for the next one. Haven't used it yet but is well built and says it has good power for the money compared to other generators.

We researched portable generators online, and decided on Westinghouse based on the products rating and company reputation. We have not yet used the generator, and hopefully will not have a storm related power outage that necessitates it. But we are confident that this generator will take care of our needs should the occasion arise. When the product arrived, it was well packed, undamaged and very easy to assemble.

I bought this back in May for my mother. She was having yrouble starting the one she had with the pull cord. I bought this electric start and trded her generators. I bought it to hook up to a house=generator transfer switch during power outages. The key fob start is get for not having to go outside to start it up during a storm and the 14.5 hr run time is great for running over night. So far no issuses. Best to kept it covered and out of the elements in a generator shed.
