Purchased in June 2024, within the month the coating started to chip. We ended up using liners to offset that problem and then a couple days ago (12/4/2024) it quit working mid cycle. After seeing other reviews, I'm not going to bother contacting Sam's or West Bend.

Don't waste your money

Purchased this air fryer about 8-9 months ago. It has great capacity for the cost, appreciate that it can be put in the dishwasher, heats stuff great. Unfortunately it shorted out after about 4 months, reached out for warrenty coverage who did replace it after I covered 20 dollars in shipping. Also unfortunate, now 4 months later the replacement has also shorted out. So in summary it is a great air fryer with a very short lifespan.

Lasted 4 months each time

It's worked for 8 months, but suddenly stopped while cooking. I took it apart and found that the safety switch at the bottom has a little plastic piece that melted, causing it to fail. I have a family of 5, and it was heavily used. It did cook very well. If it wasn't for that flaw, 
I'd give it a 5 star.

Saftey switch broke

very disappointed. Bottom plate is peeling after first use. Scared to use it as I do not want to get the peeling in my food.

I love my new air fryer.  My microwave died and rather than replace it I decided to upgrade my air fryer instead.  I replaced a small 3 qt air fryer with this one and I couldn't be happier.  I was pleasantly surprised that this didn't take up much more of my counter space than the 3 quart one did.   This has all the functions you could possibly want and as a bonus it has a light so you can see the progress without opening it.  It has done an amazing job in all the functions I have used so far which have been the Air fryer, Oven, Broil, Reheat and Keep Warm.  If you don't want to use the preset heat and timer settings, they are very easy to set manually.  I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it.
