Save your money. Do not buy this vacuum. We have a large dog who sheds. A vacuum billed as a Pet vacuum should be great, right? Not this one. From the very first use, it clogs and the main roller stops spinning. The clog is impossible to clear because it's at the ends of the roller, and Shark will not allow you to access this part of the machine. Even if you buy the specialty screwdriver head to remove the special screws they use to prevent your access. Because it still does not open up the roller. Not being able to remove and clean a vacuum roller is really poor on the part of Shark. I should have returned it immediately.

I bought this product thinking that the lift away feature was the same as my older model...it is Not... it's just a term now for removing the power head from the motor...my older model does that plus has the lift away feature. A true lift away feature lets you carry around the canister while leaving the power head attached to the handle, thus giving you great cleaning power for under furniture! That's the whole reason to spend the extra $ on the lift away! On the plus side...it does have good suction and the power head has not been tangled with pet hair.

I bought this to replace my Shark NV752 Rotator Powered Life-Away True Pet. It's lighter and cheaper than my previous model. It hurts my hand to vacuum because the handle isn't comfortable. It has a high pitched whine to it when it runs that's pretty loud and hurts my ears. While it has an LED light on the base, it doesn't have one on the handle which I am really missing when I use the wand. The accessories were lacking. I've bought Shark for years, and I've liked their machines until buying this one. I would rather cut the long hair out of the roller on my old shark than have to give up comfort with the new one. I feel like I spent a lot of money on a cheap vac.

I don't like to leave reviews for products that are t what they seem, but I am so thoroughly fed up with machine that I'm breaking my rule. Only the suction is good. The push button release to extend the wand seems like a good idea, but you have to manually detach the cord placement or it drags the whole vacuum into your shins or ankles After using the wand you must manually attach and unloop the flexible tube and power cords and reattach on the machine. The power cord is too short for a large room. None of the optional attachments stay connected to the machine - they fall off with the slightest bump or turn - I finally threw them in a closet And while the machine is lightweight, it tends to fall over on a regular basis and can flex to go over dlthressholds and lightweight carpets/rugs: you must physically lift the machine to move between surfaces. Going back to my Dyson and putting is in my BnB.

I had a shark vacuum similar to this one and it was very good on carpet and rugs, but not so great on hard floors. This one is jus the opposite. It is better on hard floors and it really sucks on carpet and rugs. I have 4 bedrooms with carpet and 2 large area rugs. I used the new shark and then went over the same area with another vacuum and the shark had left a lot behind. I saw another review complaining about how this vacuum dosen't do well on carpet. If you have carpet and rugs you will need another vacuum for them.

There is little in the way of description on the box that this unit is corded (must be plugged in) from a company that is known for its cordless vacuum sticks. Beyond that, it's almost as heavy as my grandmother's Hoover. We packed it up and took it back. (Kudo's to th4e Sam's Club Service Desk in Mechanicsburg, PA for fast work in the return process.)

I bought this to replace my older Shark. This is the worst vacuum I have ever used. I would have to go over the same area a minimum of 3 times and it still did not pick up everything. I don't know why it is marketed as a pet vacuum, I have 1 domestic short hair cat and this vacuum could not handle the small amount of hair my cat leaves behind. There is something different about the quality of this new Shark compared to my older one. I would like to give praise to the Walmart Customer Service at my store, zero hassle returning it.

Gets up stuff our Dyson didn’t. The attachment for upholstery also works great.
